All I want to do is print a DL envelope
All I want to do is send a letter... I don't want a dispatch note. I don't want to harmonise codes. I don't want to squish a landscape 6 x 4 (inches? come on...) on to a DL. All I want to do is post a business letter. Please. Royal Mail...

Hi,
Thank you for your comment. We are aware that the Click & Drop site can be confusing for some customers who just require single postage.
We have been working to improve the help on the site, as well as improved documentation, based on feedback like this from our customers.
It may be that using the Get Started Now button on the main https://parcel.royalmail.com/ page is more suited for your needs. This will take you through a step by step process to produce a single label which can be printed directly on an envelope, label, or plain paper.
If you have registered and logged in, then please be aware that you will need to use the Create Order button to create a single label. We are aware that the use of the word “Order” can be misleading, but you do only need to enter the package dimensions and recipients details. As of our latest release you are now able to print labels in a landscape orientation, suitable for DL Envelopes when logged in to this part of the site.
Should you require any further help please do not hesitate to contact the Support Team at clickanddropsupport@royalmail.com or you can view our help documentation at https://help.parcel.royalmail.com/hc/en-gb
Thanks
The Click & Drop Team

Still can't print onto a DL envelope. I like how they don't tell you this until you've already paid for the postage. Why not just have an option for DL?

I hate it when I have a problem, google it, then see something like this.
I too "just want to print a DL envelope I can put in the post" - but have got the standard A4 PDF with, with a portrait label and certificate of posting both on the same sheet.Has handy message inbetween the two sections "Print this label and customs document (if applicable), stick them to your package"
It's not a package. It's a letter. I selected the 'letter' option and you even handily put this at the top of my "package label"
This has made me unreasonably angry..

What an awful way to have to print postage. The Click and Drop website is terrible and not intuitive at all! Why on earth dont we, the customer, have the facility to print directly on to a DL envelope?? surely to god thats the simplest way? Printing onto an A4 sticky label is all well and good but it wastes 3/4 of the paper.

I used the online service when it first went live. You could make one order for multiple addresses, print direct to envelopes and pay by card. Bit by bit RM cut functionality until I stopped using the service. Good to see RM are still as arrogant as ever and still haven't restored the ability to print direct to a chosen envelope size.

It is amazing the way certain websites keep destroying their services.. Royal Mail you have still not answered how on earth to print a label on a business DL envelope or better yet how to print several of them. How is it possible you cannot understand a simple question and give a simple understandable answer?
