24 hr and 48 hr tracked services
I've just received an email advising the 24hr/48hr tracked services can now be bought online.
However, it also tells me that these have to be dropped off at a Customer Service Point.
I have a Post Office 2 minutes walk away but it is not classed as a Customer Service Point so can no longer accept these parcels.
The nearest Customer Service Point is in Helensburgh which is over an hour's drive there and back.
Why can't this go to the local post office? You've just made this service unusable.
Thanks for your comment. At present Tracked can only be bought online, via Click & Drop and dropped off at one of our Royal Mail Customer Service Points/Enquiry Offices. We have over 1,200 Customer Service Point locations where the majority of addresses are within 1 mile of an office. We are working closely with the Post Office to offer drop off here too for Tracked items. We will keep you updated as and when this happens.

1200 Customer Service Points???
Where are they then?
I bought a Tracked 24 service using Click and Drop and did indeed drop it off at the Royal Mail Customer Service Point. However, the item came back to me two days later with a note saying the barcode is not registered on the system neither is the individual code. So, I called the help number and was told it has to be dropped off at a Post Office as Click & Drop is a Post Office service not a Royal Mail service which is why they couldn't process the package. However, my Post Office have told me they can't accept anything with Tracked 24 on it as per an update letter they have received. So...going round and round in circles with this one while my customer is without their order because I have it and can't post it!!
My only option now is to get a refund for the Tracked 24 I've paid for but now can't use and pop to my Post Office again to buy regular postage stamps and get this thing out to my customer and make a note-to-self not to use Tracked 24 via Click & Drop cos it don't work!!
