Woocommerce Email Addresses and Confirming Tracking Numbers
After 6 months hard work in redeveloping our website and moving it over to woocommerce we have just noticed that RM click and drop dosent import email addresses or phone numbers from customers orders nor does it confirm tracking numbers back to woo commerce.
This has been discussed many times on this forum and a lot of your customers want it but its been denied. I'm raising this with you to ask if you will please revisit it and find a fix. Thanks
If we change the fields code for "billing_phone" to be "shipping_phone" and "billing_email" to "shipping_email" will this work for C&D to pull the data across????
If we are to add the custom fields, what (which fields, code, markers?) is Click and Drop looking for to be able to pull them across to use the email and phone number?
Can there please be an option to pull the data across from the billing fields for email address and phone number. It is possible to add these data fields in WooCommerce, but if we go to the trouble of doing this, will Click and Drop see them and feed them across???
Hi, thanks for your suggestion. Woocommerce orders contain shipping address data, but billing contact information. You may need to check that your customer has entered their email and telephone number in the order billing details, otherwise Click & Drop will not be able to provide notifications.
Unfortunately, WooCommerce does not support the inclusion of Royal Mail tracking details in its orders and customer notifications emails. We are sorry, but for this reason it is not something that we are able to fix.
