clarify what Click & Drop means
I've recently run into problems at my local PO which has recently changed hands. They now insist that I must queue to drop my parcels off which obviously negates any advantage in using click & drop. Despite trawling through numerous web pages and this forum I can find no clear advice as to who is correct or what Royal Mail policy is. Could somebody please clarify.
I always queued to drop off my "Click and Drop" when I was using the "Personal", Pay-as-you-go via PayPal service.
Now I am using Click and Drop with an Online Business Account and have mailbags, and have to print Manifests and attach to the bags; I dump in a corner of my local sub-PO / Convenience shop but they see me come and go.
You'll find that many sub-Post Offices don't know what they should be doing - I'm not entirely sure it's their fault. I have ended up visiting my local sorting office a couple of times for advice, the people there at least know what happens in the sorting office...
