Royal Mail Tracked LBT 24 & 48 are Large Letter services, they should be categorised under Large Letter instead of Parcel. The shipping rules for LBT do not work due to this reason.1 vote
Have more comprehensive shipping rules that can correctly set the parcel weight when more than one product is in the order. For example you could set your product weights to be only the weight of the actual product (excluding packaging) and the shipping rule could add a set weight of packaging on top. Or it could work like "1 product = total weight of XXg, 2 products = total weight of XXg" etc.15 votes
Currently UK customers are given an email or SMS from Royal Mail when they have a guaranteed delivery by 1pm or 9am option, or other tracked or signed options.
But International customers are not given this. I understand it is not economical to send international SMS message, but surely an email is quite easy to do. The cost of email is the same no matter which country.
Can you please add this, so that our workflow allows international customers to have a tracking number sent to them from Royal Mail. Thanks!10 votes
Currently, shipping rules only apply to orders than contain one product SKU. If an order contains more than one product SKU, the shipping rule is not applied.
I'm informed that this is because we might, for instance, send each product separately. We always send items from the same order in the same parcel, so it would be very useful to have the option to tell C&D to apply shipping rules even when the order has more than one SKU12 votes

Customers often choose a delivery date. This information needs to be transferred to C&D.

There are no current plans to include this feature on personal accounts, but we will consider if if there is enough customer demand.
Allow a shipping service alias to be a string of words separated by a comma rather than 10 letters and no spaces ie (Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded or Royal Mail 24 Tracked & Signed)

DELIVERY CONFIRMATION NUMBER TO BE DISPLAYED AND ACCESSIBLE. UNACCEPTABLE THAT YOU'VE TAKEN AWAY THIS OPTION.
The delivery confirmation number was available for second class standard small parcels in the old system. Now with the new one it is impossible to find or just is not displayed. This is completely unacceptable, delivery confirmation is essential for ebay sellers and this was a feature available in the old system, why remove it? Shutl automatically updates with the delivery confirmation id so why have royal mail themselves made it impossible to find? Guess where I'll be spending my money if this problem isn't fixed.1 vote

We need to be able to select the Saturday Guaranteed Delivery option. Currently we can only do this on Fridays and are not able to do this

We need to be able to generate our shipping labels in advance as it's our busiest production & dispatch day.
This used to work a few months ago.
I have added extra shipping options to my store and there is no way to refresh the list of store postage methods to create shipping rules.
Without this the entire system doesn't really work.1 vote
This is not specifically a C and D issue but my suggestion is to increase the overseas parcel weight from 2kg. 2kg is not very heavy and often we are 2.5-3kg so have to split into 2 parcels. You can send documents up to 5kg so why not increase the parcel weight?!

If postage is applied via product rules and then the label is printed using the "Scan & Print" screen the item is never added to a batch so it cannot be manifested without being marked as dispatched (an unnecessary step which I never do).
This leads to items not being manifested when they should be.1 vote

If the tracking shows delay metrics will be affected, but if no tracking then metrics is only affected if the buyer says they received late.3 votes
