Thank you for your message. Where a Click & Drop account is integrated with eBay this by default now adds an eBay Virtual Tracking Number into a reference field in the recipient address; this is designed to support customers who want to minimise the work they need to do to provide tracking event data to eBay, and help more of our customers qualify for seller protection from eBay.

If you do not want this information to be automatically shared with eBay you can disable the integration between your Click & Drop account and your eBay account. You will still be able to use Click & Drop to generate your postage labels to fulfil your eBay orders. The easiest way to generate labels manually is to export your order data from eBay and import the associated labels using the Click & Drop desktop integration. If you use this approach, please ensure you remove the VTN data from Address Line 2. If you want to use this manual process so that you can choose to include the VTN data on selected items the VTN will need to be moved from Address Line 2 inserted into the order reference field in Click & Drop.

If you have bought postage online through Click & Drop, we have over 14,000 drop off options including Royal Mail Customer Service Points / Delivery Office / Post Office branches (except for Royal Mail Tracked items) as well as our new 24/7 Parcel Postboxes which also accept Royal Mail Tracked items. Use the Royal Mail App to find one near you and the relevant opening times.

You will still be able to use STL and BPL for letters and large letters in Click & Drop. We are looking at the label design required to introduce the UN codes within Click & Drop and this may feature in a future release

Click & Drop enforces the maximum weight per format combination so for example only allows up to 2Kg where Parcel only allows 2KG. OBA allows greater weight due to the the differential between printed papers or parcels.
