Royal Mail 'Send an Item' email order confirmations already contain VAT breakdowns so it can't be very difficult for VAT breakdowns to be added to Royal Mail 'Click and Drop' email order confirmations - come on Royal Mail, please provide us with VAT breakdowns on emails - it would make our book keeping process so much more efficient

Its ridiculous that the numeric amount of VAT paid isn't shown clearly.

The confirmation email simply says "If you have purchased a Royal Mail Tracked service, please note the price includes VAT at the standard rate". When I phoned about the issue the call handler tried telling me this meant it was 0% if there's no numeric amount, yet the RM website says VAT is chargeable on the service I bough.

It isn't even made clear the confirmation email is supposed to be a simplified VAT receipt. Its hidden in the small print at the bottom of the email.
