Thank you all for your suggestions. We understand the importance of this feature for our customers who directly integrate their eCommerce stores. We are beginning to plan how to add in the functionality to split, merge, and clone orders.
However, we cannot give you a time for when this will be completed as we are currently working on a range of other useful features.
Any news on this one?

Thank you for all of your suggestions.
Unfortunately, it is not possible for our system to be in constant communication with eCommerce stores due to the technical demand required.
However, we can see how this would be a very useful and time-saving feature, and so we will give this request proper consideration for the future.
Easy solution instead of "constant communication with eCommerce stores" items that haven't been posted within 24 hours, are likely to be cancelled items. Should be marked kept in a separate folder, and bulk deleted.
Thank you for your suggestions. We are planning to introduce post town validation to help ensure your order data is as correct as possible.
We will provide further updates as soon as we are able, but we expect this feature to be completed as soon as possible.
Great idea! :)
Royal Mail is looking into options for introducing a process to ease the claims process by supplying claims data in a simpler way. The investigation work is being carried out and we will then look as to when we can fit this into the development roadmap fro Click & Drop alongside the other requests we receive.
When a firm date for introducing this new feature, we will communicate through the user voice and message centre in Click & Drop

There's just to much postage goes missing every month.
That it's become really expected using royalmail
There need to be tracking on every item to reduce theft.
At least that way we can work out if it's
1. Employee theft
2. Customer theft
So many of my orders get lost every month. I should claim refunds. It's to much hassle.
I lose problem 3% of the letter I post per week. I never make claims.
It just to much time
You would get a totally automated process from click and drop,
without having to click on what to combine. if the weight of the items and packaging were separated.
1.If postcode and house equal the same
2.Combine two item weights
3. Add packaging weight once
Benefits save time, and accurate billing! :)
Totally agree with Kavs! :) Because that is exactly our situation too!
"take away x grams for every extra unit above y unit(s)" from total weight, and the same for "every extra order"
Would be greatl! :)
You need to separate packaging weight, and product weight for this feature to work.
1 Card box = 40g (and can hold 10 items)
1 Item = 10g
Say you sell 6x items
the actual weight would be 100g
The click and drop would work weight as 300g
because of 6 boxes 40g = 240g
6 products = 60g
If you don't separate the weight.
The next issue from users will be the total combined weight for packaging and items
to be separate
Really need this feature too!
these products aren’t currently available in Click & Drop but are under consideration for a release later this year. Until then these products can only be ordered direct in OBA,
