Merge and Split Orders
Please implement a function to merge and / or split orders.

Hello. Please be aware that the IOSS scheme prohibits the merging or splitting of orders for the purposes of shipping. If your intended use is for shipments to the EU where the order is shipped under the IOSS scheme, you will be unable to merge or split orders for shipping.
Thanks, the Click & Drop team.

Agreed, we need a function that allows to combine orders with the same shipping address for domestic orders. Nothing to do with IOSS or EU shipments just need it for UK at the very least. Why is this so difficult to implement?

Yes, we need to be able to combine domestic orders. Any multichannel software that I have used has this function. It's a simple but essential function.

Why do you not allow me to select two or more orders and then have an option on the drop down menu options to merge the selected orders - not difficult coding

Fine, but at least let us merge / split orders that aren't using the IOSS scheme.

To be able to combine /merge orders (UK orders) would save our business so much time! Click and Drop REALLY need to sort this.

Being able to combine orders into one shipment is particularly needed for Tracked Orders should there need to be a reason to submit a claim.
Making that a Click to select the orders to combine, Click to Select Merge (or Combine) from the list of options to apply postage, and Click to Confirm or Cancel , and then Click to Apply Postage, adjust weight if required and Click to print a label is far better, quicker and easier than the present Edit Package and add extra items and then still need to delete the extra items

It would make it easier and quicker to simplify combining orders into one shipment

I frequently have the need to merge two or more orders into one shipment. Either I have to simply use one order and delete the extra orders or use the Add a Product which is not ideal and is slow and cumbersome
To Merge or combine 2 or more Orders into 1 Shipment For Local Orders it would be quicker if the orders to be merged were selected and then in the Options Apply Postage etc, have an option Merge Orders and for the program to do the same operation as done manually with Edit Package Contents by adding and combining the orders to make one shipment

Great Idea Ian, Merging orders would hugely help us too, we don't ship to the EU but would still hugely help.

The ability to Merge or combine 2 or more Orders into 1 Shipment for local orders is equally applicable - on the drop down to select apply postage and other options - there should also be an option after selecting two or more orders for the same buyer to Merge or combine them and then apply postage - very basic concept

Currently when auto dispatch is turned on, it will dispatch my entire order in shopify. Even though I dispatch my items separately. We need the option to click the product that needs dispatching. DHL do this in their ecommerce integration.

It should automatically merge orders with the same address details, as we often get several orders to the same customer, and they've only paid one lot of postage. It's very time-consuming to manually combine several orders into one.

Fantastic news, thank you!

This has been suggested before and turned down. Please revisit it, especially in the light of the new customs data situation. The workaround (Record the weight for the combined items package and print one label) is clunky and doesn't give a true record of the transaction.
The other workaround is to give up and get the drop off Post Office to do any orders that need combining. Which is probably what I'll do in future!

Our courier integration recognises when a customer has placed multiple orders on eBay, for shipping to the same address, and asks us if we would like to merge them into one shipment. It would be great if C&D could do the same, allowing us to create 1 label and for that tracking to update all the orders - currently we have to manually spot them, then copy the tracking and apply to the other orders.
eBay has recently included a random eBay number within addresses to "track eBay orders" (!?) so this would need to be recognised by C&D and removed from the address, but that wouldn't be difficult to do. For example;

Guess what, I'm just packing 2 individual items a person bought on eBay & they want them posting together yet C&D won't allow me to combine to the same postcode. I have to manually change the weight & then manually add the tracking to 1 of the orders. We also get a lot of orders on Amazon where a customer buys each item separately too, often they later spot something else they like!!
