Etsy Integration - Mark orders as dispatched Feature - Change request
When using this feature, it is marking the orders as dispatched whenever we "print a label", but it would make better sense to mark the order as dispatched once the order has been "added to a manifest" instead as this is when we indicate that an order is going to be dispatched/posted.
For example, we sometimes outsource the "packaging" of some orders to others to do for us. Because they don't have access to our systems or a label printer etc, we would print all the labels to hand over to them along with the orders to package. They could take 1-2 days to do the packaging before the orders are then returned to us to manifest and bag up for Royal Mail to come and collect that day.
As you can see, having the orders marked as dispatched on Etsy, from a label print action, makes it look to our customers that we have posted their order.
I am nearly certain that the behaviour of this feature did used to work based on manifesting and not printing but has changed (I may be wrong).
If you can't change this behaviour globally for everyone, as it might upset others, then please can you work on adding user-controlled configuration to the Etsy Integration screen on your website to allow use to choose whether to mark as dispatched either on Label Print or Order Manifested.
A dropdown that would allow us to decide to Dispatch on Manifest or Label print would be good.
Thank you for your suggestion. Please review 'Settings / Miscellaneous' and ensure you do not have the option to "Mark order as despatched when label is generated" enabled.

Thanks for pointing this out. If we turn this off, will the orders get dispatched on Etsy, AND tracking information entered, once the manifest is created?
