Lower pick up cost to 10p
The introduction of a 30p pick up per item seems a bit high. This will stop me from using the service and I'll go back to dropping at a Post Office, or a post box. If the cost was 10p, I'd pay, or if it was a set amount per pick-up day (say 50p) I'd pay. But 30p per item means it's cheaper to drive to a drop off ... doesn't make sense for the customer, feels profit-driven.

If I had another option for letter/large letter formats I would not use Royal Mail at all.
This is just another level of greed in my opinion. -

I fully agree that charging 30p PER item is ridiculous as it's irrelevant whether you're sending 1 item or 10, if the van is coming to your house/office then surely it's not costing them anything extra to make the stop.
You do realise though that if you were to book a collection for 1 item but then handed the posite say 3 items, he'll just take them all, right? I literally do it all the time. -

YES ……… absolutely ridiculous charging 30p per item …price gouging at its worst…terrible for small business online sellers
