Allow booking of collections (not 'returns') via Click and Drop
As a business we have a requirement to ship WFH equipment to our staff across the UK, and also to collect equipment back from leavers/retrieve faulty items. Click and Drop allows us to ship from our offices but we can only book collections via pay-as-you-go on Royal Mail, which is not suitable for us. We need to be able to book collections which attach to a monthly invoice as we could with Parcelforce.

We used to be able to very easily book parcel collections from 3rd parties to be delivered to us (not customer returns) via the ParcelForce portal but sice the RM and PF fully merged and the PF portal has been replaced by C&D there is no longer any way to do this which is not only EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING but also completely nonsensical!

we are in the same situation. we regularly ship from and to arbitrary addresses. with parcelforce WDM api this was a breeze (as it is with another 3 or 4 courier APIs i have integrated) but with RM it is a nightmare.
Have been liasing with tech and account reams at RM since the middle of last year but it frequently takes upto a week to get a reply from their email accoutns, and no phone number is provided.
@victoria can i ask what your 'clunky workaround' is? we might need it!! -

What was your workaround, Victoria? All we've been given is 'returns label' which is no good when the 'return' might be years after the original shipment! That or pay-as-you-go, and it's just not realistic to give a company credit card to every member of my team (not to mention that Royal Mail doesn't accept our company card type.)

After many, many conversations with our account manager and C&D customer service we were eventually given a clunky workaround to allow us to arrange collections from customers. There was little to no understanding of or interest in why we required this service, one we used roughly 30 times a week with Parcelforce that disappeared with no warning. I have so enjoyed this seamless transition.
