    I have brought this up b4 but it's been ignored. FYI I just put tel in company field and move company (if exists) to addr line 1 (it's a bit of a weird script but gets the job done).
    RM not something u plan but it's something international orders require according to your own documentation. - look at www.royalmail.com/USA the page mentions the following:

    "Please write the addressee's mobile telephone number on your parcel, in case we need to contact them about their delivery."

    Some countries and and addresses in rural location (eg Greece) items have been returned b4 even leaving Germany because there was no phone number on the parcel.

    Thank you for your suggestions. We are planning to introduce post town validation to help ensure your order data is as correct as possible.
    We will provide further updates as soon as we are able, but we expect this feature to be completed as soon as possible.

    Hello. Please be aware that the IOSS scheme prohibits the merging or splitting of orders for the purposes of shipping. If your intended use is for shipments to the EU where the order is shipped under the IOSS scheme, you will be unable to merge or split orders for shipping.
