Display Customer Phone Number On International Shipments
Please add an option to add the customer phone number to the printed shipping label. This is necessary for some of Royal Mail's international delivery partners as they sometimes require the phone number to be visible in order to deliver the package to some locations/buildings.
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. We are currently working with our International partners to determine what if any phone number should be printed and where it needs to appear.
Kind Regards,

We have been requesting this for several years (since first moving to click & drop) as it is a requirement for some countries, particularly in the Middle Eastern countries, but also occasionally for China and others.
We have even been getting packages returned by Royal Mail with "incomplete address" labels on with a note saying "phone missing"!
Your own website states it is recommend to include the phone number on the label for international packages!

We've had international parcels 'returned to sender' by Royal Mail because the shipping label did not include a phone number.
C&D does not even have an option to display the phone number on shipping labels so how are we supposed to provide it on the label ?
Please give us the option to display the phone number on shipping labels for orders bound to Asia or Middle East.

This would be a great idea, especially for overseas parcels. Currently when we send using Parcel Force or A N Other courier we have to add the phone number to the label as well as the customs info so that the end user country postal / carriers have that contact info.

This option, which should be available either in settings or for individual labels, would help with deliveries.

Shipping to Sadia Arabia is a problem without a telephone number. Sadia Arabia postal service requires a telephone number on post. The UK sorting office as standard returns parcels if there is no telephone number. There is an import field for a telephone number but is does not print on the address label??.... Big problem as we have to write the telephone number on by hand!!.
Please fix!!

I have brought this up b4 but it's been ignored. FYI I just put tel in company field and move company (if exists) to addr line 1 (it's a bit of a weird script but gets the job done).
RM not something u plan but it's something international orders require according to your own documentation. - look at www.royalmail.com/USA the page mentions the following:"Please write the addressee's mobile telephone number on your parcel, in case we need to contact them about their delivery."
Some countries and and addresses in rural location (eg Greece) items have been returned b4 even leaving Germany because there was no phone number on the parcel.

If a customer provides a contact number when ordering, it should be included on the shipping label. A contact number would help to decrease the rate of lost/returned international orders.
I'm surprised this feature isn't already standard as Royal Mail themselves advise you to add a customer's contact number when shipping internationally?
