Previously I was able to print the address label and customs forms on the same page in A6, one on each side. I can still do this but the customs label now flls the entire A4 page. I'm having to print each page individually, reducing the size of the customs form to 50% so it fits on my boxes. This obviously makes the text really small, which worries me that it won't get through customs in the destination country. Please make the customs label the smaller size it was, or at least give that option

Why has it changed that it has to be CN23 and not a CN22 I wonder?

Not being able to print CN23 labels by default as 4 to a page is a nightmare - they need to change this!

guys. there is a workaround.

generate all the labels as 6x4

go to print the pdf label page

you will get a long list of pages (each page being a 6x4 individual shipping label or customs form)

change the page size in the printer settings to A4

change copies per page from 1 copy per page to 4 copies per page

this will now arrange the labels in a 4 label - per - a4 sheet arrangement

hit print and you're done

I agree. I ship CDs and in C/) bubble envelopes. Even folding this in half does not fit and very much agree on the new packaging rules in EU .. buying another item to ship CDs (weighing 7g!) which have already gone up in price to ship globally, plus 3EU levy... now buying another bit which will make us have to account for this in our postage cost is simply not feasible.

Until July 2026 CN22 customs forms could be printed 4 to a page to match the 4 to a page Address labels.

CN22 is no longer available so you must use CN23. You can only print CN23 as a full A4 page or as 6x4 on a thermal printer. For anybody without a thermal printer this is not an option.

I currently ship win 10x10x2cm cardboard boxes which will not accept A4 labels.

Large labels require large packaging and to avoid excessive weight this is going to mean plastic bags, increasing both cost and environmental issues.

The EU from Aug 12 has introduced a Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation aimed at minimising packaging. The regulation has universal scope so it applies to e-commerce platforms from the UK as well.
Although this is an EU regulation it is clearly how most shippers will want to operate.

It would be helpful to have the option to print all Click & Drop label & documents for a single order (Shipping Label, CN Customs Document, Proof of Postage) together on one A4 page. Currently each label/document prints on a separate page with no option to combine them, which wastes paper.

Since the switch to CN23, it would be helpful to allow 4 6x4 CN23 labels per A4 page, as with CN22.

We currently use A4 integrated invoice and label paper (FP16 100x150) for printing our packing slips and labels. It would be nice if we had the option to edit the current formats that are available so we could use our current stock of paper through Click & Drop. This is a fairly standard format for integrated paper so I'm sure many would benefit from this.

I just voted and realized that the trail is from 2021 and even it was approved it is still not available in 2023?!?!?!?!?
When we can expect this to be applied to the site?

You have ann option to print 4 address labels to an A4 page, but the CN22 customs forms print out only one to an A4 page. Please offer the option to print customs forms four to an A4 page.

This is a very good idea, at the very least do not start a new page when generating the CN22 label - at the moment if I have two international packages I get 2 postage labels on 1 page and then 2 customs labels on a second page which means wasted paper or if using labels trying to rotate the label sheet and feed back through

Thank you, but a year and a half later, this still has not happened. Perhaps if it would be simpler, you could just give users the option to have the labels in the same order as you do now, but without page breaks between postage labels and customs labels. This would save the postential waste of labels. It is surely important to Royal Mail to avoid encouraging waste.

This is very sensible and it is (was) exactly what I do (did) at the moment up until, coincident it seems with the new payment options, the use of custom positioning of labels no longer works, Sure you can select it exactly as before but the Royal Mail label software now ignores your choice and prints every label in the default position - what a waste of self adhesive labels.

Please add an option for customers using 4 labels on an A4 sheet to select, if they would like to have the address label immediately followed by the customs label without generating a new sheet of labels. The current system results in lots of blank labels, and the need to look carefully to make sure one assigns the correct customs label to the correct address label.

Currently, if you choose to print on A4 you get separate sheets for your shipping labels and Customs Declaration (CN22 / CN23)

That is bad for the environment. We are not large enough to have special paperwork or printers.

Please make it possible to generate the Shipping Label and Customs Declaration on a single sheet of A4
