Add integration for Open Cart
Please, could you add Open Cart to the list of platforms available for quick integration? One of our websites is with the Open Cart and it is a pain to do every order manually.
Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for your suggestion and feedback. This is not something in plan at current, but we will consider in future developments.
Kind Regards,
Click & Drop Support

Your provider, Store Feeder, supports OC. So when will you add OC?

a) RM would create an integration for an Opensource product - the last time I checked Magento was Opensource (along with paid versions). This didn't stop them creating an integration.
b) I am an Opencart developer and have already created an integration (which worked via the Click & Drop Dropbox integration). This was a fudge while waiting for the API.
c) I have already created a free module for Opencart which uses their new API - This worked however was abandoned (never published on the Opencart Marketplace) due to the API being useless (no ability to print labels).
The best way forward would be an API that developers can create/tailor for their own needs. However this needs to be a fully functional API.
There has already been a thread started regarding this, if Royal Mail ever decide to fix their API then I will release the module.
The thread people need to vote on is here: https://clickanddrop.uservoice.com/forums/399930-general/suggestions/42350053-add-automatically-print-to-api-integration

As OpenCart is open source, I would suggest the best solution would be for a developer to create a plugin to utilise the C&D API. I doubt RM would create an integration for an open source product.

PLEASE integrate opencart. By declining to integrate opencart Royal Mail are loosing a considerable number of customers. Many opencart users feel the request has been dismissed out of hand, and the many votes to get it looked at again have clearly been ignored. Like others on the opencart forum and elsewhere I am moving my business away from Royal Mail because of this. Many of my customers are from eBay and that integration works well but more expensive items sell through my opencart website but I need a single service provider and it’s a pity Royal Mail are unable/unwilling to deliver a solution as it’s pushing me to go elsewhere. The click and drop desktop “solution” is anything but a proper solution. It’s a pity this is the best Royal Mail can do.
