Email notification wording
Yesterday I performed a test of the customer email notification to see it it would be of any use to our workflow.
Bit of info as to my workflow. Not only do I post direct to my customers, I also post on their behalf to their customers. To do this I have their details set up as different Trading Names so that all their details appear on any post or customs labels.
The test I performed was for an item posted direct to one of my customer's customers so the postage label had her details etc on it. For the test, I put my email address into the package recipient email box so that I could see how it all worked and what the email from RM contained.
All seemed to work smoothly. Well, it did until the email arrived to give an update that RM had received the package.
The email reads as :-
Hi Helen ........
We have received your parcel from xxxxxxxxxxxx and it is now being processed to leave the UK.
The xxxxx are my company details. The issue is that surely if I am sending using a different Trading Name to my default one, the xxxxxxx should contain the details from that different Trading Name and not mine.
Is this something that RM are able to sort out by their system grabbing the details for the email from the Trading Name that was used rather that the default one for my OBA.
In it's current form, the email notification option is not something that I can offer my customers.

I also have the same issue.
I have two businesses and use the one account for both businesses. The problem is the same as OP, it shows the default senders info in notification emails regardless of what business/senders address I click. My customers are finding this very confusing.
