I sent a £0.00 gift to Ireland and a month later still waiting for it to arrive back with me since AnPost rejected it due to inavlaid data (value=0)
£0.00 being alllowed as a goods value is increasing our carbon footprint with parcels moving around the world for them to be returned to sender.
Everyone sending a parcel wants it to arrive at its destination, they are not sending it on a foreign holiday for a few weeks.
Why does RM allow a zero value if it's known that it will fail custioms checks?
Is this problem limited to Irish Customs?
I use https://api.parcel.royalmail.com/api/v1/orders/[ORDERIDENTIFIERS]
It frustratingly includes various order activity dates up until it's been shipped and then we're in a void.
We send a customer review request email a few days after an order has been delievered. It works fine for courier despatches, yet for RM despatched orders we leave a 7 day window from despatch hoping that their order has arrived by then. It's embarrasing when you ask what a customer thought about thier order and they say it hasn't arrived yet.
