    The maximum weight & sizes for international large letters on Click & Drop are different to those given by Royal Mail here: https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/121/~/international-size-and-weight-restrictions

    Hi David,

    We are sorry to hear the issue that you are having with Print Assist.

    The issue you have described is normally resolved by changing the settings for your printer, as detailed in the link below.

    If changing the printers settings does not resolve this the chances are that Print Assist has been installed as a Windows Service and this is causing the printer settings to be ignored. To rectify this re-installing Print Assist and ensure that the “Install…as a Window service” is unchecked.

  3. STOP WITH the Automatic Manifesting - Max Sort Issues

    Royal Mail. Please stop doing automatic manifests, you are messing us up. The reason being is that we ship on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We have to hit max sort on International and we need to hit the 1.5kg level, we print labels as max sort but if we dont hit it then we have to reset and resort back to IG1 or another courier or we carry them forward to our next postal day.     Hi

    the auto manifest process is only activated on a Monday – Friday and excludes bank holidays. It only comes into effect when a label has been generated and there has been no manual manifest that day. In the scenario where a manifest has been produced and a customer wants to continue generating labels for the next day, these wont be auto manifested after 18 30 unless the following day no manifest is manually produced. This works in the same way that DMO also auto manifests.

  4. Bring back International Economy

    I post items overseas on behalf of a charity and desperately need to be able to use International Economy (surface mail) for small parcels. We can't afford to spend our hard-earned income on International Standard (airmail). But Economy is not available as an option on C&D and when I phoned the helpline 03456113425 I was told "one or two" people had raised this point but that it "wasn't necessary" to add it to C&D. I found this insulting. Way to go, RM - make the cheaper alternative unavailable in the hope that the customer is too busy to stand in…

  5. Print Assist - Labels 50% size and 90 degree rotated

    When trying Print Assist/Auto Print, the labels coming out of our Zebra printers (GK420D and ZP450) are printing 50% scale and 90 degrees rotated - trying the landscape/portrait orientation setting in the print driver has no effect. Anyone else got this problem, or managed to solve it???

    There are 2 things that we have found to be causing this issue. In the first instance, please check that the preferences for your label printer are set to the correct size. We recommend that these are:
    Width: 3.75"
    Height: 6.00"

    If the issue persists then it is likely that the “Install Royal Mail Print Assist as a Windows Service” has been selected during the installation process of Print Assist.

    In order to rectify this issue, please uninstall Print Assist, and re-install it, ensuring that the “Install Royal Mail as a Windows Service” is not selected on the “Select Additional Tasks” section of the installation.

  6. Impossible New Service

    I've been using On Line Postage for many years - just a few recipients in my OLP address book, which I can print to the special postage labels I purchased for the purpose.

    I am now being forced to move to either a single use Click and Drop service where I have to complete addressee and my details each time, and have the label printed on plain paper, and have to do my best Blue Peter act to cut and stick to the envelope; or register for a system which assumes I am in business.

    This change is ill thought…

  8. Creating Return Labels

    We currently print returns labels to go into our customers orders so they can use the label to return any unwanted items to us.

    We have been doing this as multiples on the DMO but can't seem to do this on Click & Drop. It allows you print one for each customer but this is just so long winded when we need to print roughly 50 labels a day!

  9. Add Amazon (Mexico) integration please (and maybe Japan too)

    Hi,

    I have just setup Amazon integration for all European and US / Canadian markets we serve, unfortunately Amazon Mexico is not in the drop down list (that comes as part of USA and canada options) is there a way to integrate with this please or does it need further setup ?

    Hi and thank you for your feedback. We are happy to announce that we have now added support for Amazon Mexico and Japan, along with other international Amazon stores.
    You can find these countries in the drop down list when creating a new integration.

  10. orders from eBay to Jersey currently import address as UK excluding Channel Islands

    This might be more of a bug than an idea but I printed 2 labels for a customer from Jersey who purchased through eBay. One label was generated from the eBay import but as the order was over sized it had to be sent as 2 separate parcels so I created a manual order for the second label. The labels looked different to each other and I found that the one from eBay was automatically set to UK - excluding Channel Islands where as the manually created label automatically selected UK - Jersey

  12. Delete Orders For Dispatch

    I want to be able to delete orders awaiting dispatch, which the system currently does not allow. We mark orders as dispatched on eBay and Amazon, if we also mark as dispatched on the Click and Drop site the dates and timings can conflict, resulting in a negative performance mark on the market places. As a result we no longer use the Dispatched function on Click and Drop and want to be able to delete the orders that are accumulating, all of which have been dispatched and updated as such on eBay and Amazon

  14. Enable auto customs label printing for the Channel Islands

    Currently their is a function to automatically product a customs label when one is required. However it does not work for Channel Island orders which do require customs labels.

  15. Tracking Numbers Should be Exported To Amazon & Ebay

    At present the tracking numbers are not exported to Amazon & eBay when finalising a despatch. I have had a case this week where Amazon have refunded a customer on an A-Z claim even though Royal Mail claim the parcel was delivered. Amazon will not allow me to appeal the case as the tracking number was not transferred with the despatch notification from Click & Drop.

    This service is not currently offered through C+D. We need to go old-school hand write address and hand stamp the envelope, etc. Then add to OBA account, etc.

    Make label generation like myhermes so 4 Labels per A4 Sheet instead of a label per A4 - Click and Drop is really getting there and will be the best in the market with some more tweaks

    We have updated Click & Drop this morning to allow this capability. If you open the settings tab in Click & Drop and then choose templates, the 4 labels can be chosen by clicking on the drop down on the A4 section in Click & Drop

    Hi,

    You’ll be pleased to hear that we have added the option to mark orders as ‘Despatched by other courier’, which can be performed on the ‘Apply postage’ stage of order processing, or via shipping rules.

    This will keep the order in Click & Drop, but it will not appear in your ‘New orders’, ‘Orders ready for printing’, ‘Orders ready for despatch’, or ‘Orders despatched today’ dashboard figures. You will not be able to apply postage or generate labels for orders marked as despatched by another courier, but you will be able to reset or delete the order if you decide.

  19. Why is it one order/postage per page?

    I used to be able to print 4 labels on 1 page but can't see how I can do this on Click & Drop.
    I don't want to waste a whole page for 1 label.
    Is there another way?

    You can select the label settings in the template settings and choose the A4 option and then choose whether to print 1, 2 or 4 labels on a page. In late October / early November this format will also allow the label position of the first label to be printed similar to that contained in Online Postage currently, this feature has been developed following requests from the user voice.

  20. Have the ability to print labels in a specific order

    I would like to be able to sort the labels prior to printing to make the matching excerise easier (for example alphabetical order). A similar sort facility as to that on the front screen would be great.
