Show Tracking Status in Click & Drop
When sending an item tracked it would be very helpful to have an extra column showing the different stages of that items stage - so at a glance you can see the delivery status, filter by undelivered etc.
This would save clicking on each item and regularly checking.

This was completed in our 7.23 release in November 2021. You can add the tracking status column to the manifested orders grid using the column configuration settings found at the top right of the grid

it IS working but only in the BETA version. I think the person who marked this as complete should have explained this much better, so i have attempted to below.
Click "orders overview" then the "manifested orders" tab next to "open orders".
This has lots of columns which you can filter some out you don't need. One of the columns is "tracking" which shows the tracking number and "delivered" under it when it has been scanned as delivered.
The bigger problem is that the postmen and postwomen are not scanning the parcel when they deliver so it often does not say delivered when we know it is as our customer has told us.
We have spoken to our postwoman and she says it is mainly because the equipment stops working mid round or occasionally they are just don't have time. Sometimes they forget but then they are only human :-)

It's more than likely RM have back tracked on this, as they could potentially lose money - tracking information is behind a reCAPTCHA to stop scraping, and if you want to use a third party to provide automatic RM tracking details and updates to customers, you have to pay RM £1000 per month for the privilege. Putting this information on C&D would open up the ability to scrape the data without paying.

This has NOT been completed. When looking at reports and downloading reports, the Delivery Status column is ALWAYS EMPTY. Even if items have tracking references. This is obviously a deliberate decision to leave this information off, to make it harder for business customers to see what hasn't been delivered, therefore making t harder to claim.

I agree. This is incredibly frustrating. Click & Drop says the Tracking status feature has been COMPLETED - but it hasn't.
The Tracking Status column is there, but it is empty. So it seems that the Royal Mail C&D team have agreed that it is a valid feature, but haven't completed the programming to make it work. Come on RM, anything to make our lives a bit easier at the moment would be appreciated.
A feature that you claim to have implemented (in November 2021), but haven't, is a massive fail! -

We have been successfully using the click and drop API for the last few months and would like to extend our integration so that we can get the delivered date of a package.
We currently use an ERP to manage all aspects of the order, pick, pack, ship and reporting and it would be incredibly useful for our support teams to know when a package has been delivered.
Therefore, we would like to be able to get the delivered date for an order. Looking at the API there doesn't seem to be an obvious way to retrieve the delivered date of an order. The /orders/{orderId} doesn't include the delivered date.

Please, this is pretty crucial.
We built a small integration of Click&Drop into our website that automatically creates orders in C&D, but neither on the C&D website nor on the API response is there any visibility on tracking status.
I can get the trackingNumber through the API integration, but can't get the tracking status, which defeats the purpose of paying for tracked delivery. And it seems the Royal Mail Tracking REST API is not accessible to C&D customers. Which is a shame.
Can we please get
- a column in the dashboard of the C&D webapp
- a field in the API response with the tracking details (so the integrations can send follow-up emails etc).Full tracking information and event webhooks would be preferable and sort of expected in this day and age, but at least basic tracking status information when we query the order status would be very much appreciated.

I like a lot of the Click and Drop system but one feature that is desperately lacking is a way of viewing all the shipments and their tracking/status in a table.
DPD do this. You can filter by date of shipment, destination country etc.
In another column, it shows the status of the shipments. So you have a big table with the tracking number, name of customer and tracking status. Thus you can briefly look every morning and see what parcels are delivered and which are stuck and what the issue is.
This is impossible with click and drop as you'd have to go through each item individually and look at each to monitor it's progress.
This is especially important with international shipments which due to Brexit and Corona are seeing lots of problems, returns, missing items, stuck at customs etc. Sometimes if you know quickly you can resolve these issues.
Just being able to see a dashboard of all active shipments and their progress would be a great feature which other couriers provide.

It would be great to be able to view and filter parcels by delivery status - RM has this information, so it should be made available within C&D to allow us to quickly see what parcels are still in transit / past X days to make a claim.
