How to send letters to the USA?
How do I send letters to the USA using Click and Drop please? The option do to this was removed on Tuesday.
In his email dated 28th August your colleague Micheal Irwin (Director of Export) says this "If you only send personal correspondence to the USA, you are not affected by these changes“ So this is the reason for my query on letters.
I’ve had product codes added to my account for parcels but I need to send letters to the USA. I’ve been using product code DP3 previously for sending letters to the USA.

Allow reports of Invoices and Despatched orders to cover longer periods
If personal data needed for accounting is lost, it becomes difficult to retrieve older records. The Click & Drop system only stores invoices and dispatch information for a little over one year. Requesting data older than that is extremely challenging, as there appears to be no direct way to submit a request or speak to someone for assistance.

On the Open Orders Screen, save Column Configuration
On the Open Orders Screen, save Column Configuration at Account Level (not via cookie)
Currently the configuration is saved throughout logins and logouts, but only until cookies are cleared. (I delete all cookies fairly often to prevent clutter.)
Column config ought to be saved as part of the account setup, not via a cookie.
thanks

Large letters can no longer be used for shipment - doubling postage fees
This is complete madness. My items which are small and qualify in size and weight as a Large Letter, can no longer be shipped as a large letter but a small parcel, DOUBLING the shipping costs!
This is insane.1 vote -
BUG: Shipments can only be filled as 'Document'
What's going on with C&D lately? It's just covered in one problem after another. Today, I can't send any item in any other category but "Documents". But I am not sending a document...
I am unable to change the Declaration category to sales, commercial sample, gift, etc. It only allows Document to be selected. Any other attempts give the following error message:"A Personal correspondence shipment must use Documents Declaration category
*A Personal correspondence shipment must have zero value1 vote -

Twice attempted to arrange for parcel collection from another address.
First date for arranged collection Royal Mail e-mailed me to say no one at home when postman called yet the sender said he was in all day. I'd paid for the parcel label to be taken to the collection address. 2nd date arranged three days later. Paid a small fee for the next collection and on this date NO label taken to the collection address despite having paid for one so no collection made again. Total incompetence by Royal Mail. I've cancelled my order on the item I was trying to buy. The booking system is un necessarily long winded and actually cannot can not cater correctly for someone arranging for a parcel collection from someone elses address I''ve wasted my money by paying for a service that has not been given.

paying for lables
When we joined royal Mail click and drop we were assured, and we checked twice, that once we had brought the printer for the thermal labels from you, the labels themselves would ALWAYS be free.
What with your subsidies for fuel because fuel is going up, subsidies for making your vans green (so why do we need the fuel subsidy) and peak subsidies to pay for more postmen when you are busy over xmas (surely the extra parcels sent should pay for postmen or you have a very bad business model), this new fee is yet another thing hitting small businesses who have no option but to send via Royal Mail.
You appear to have done this to allow people to use them for other things as that is the only change to the T+C. But we have never used them for anything else, just labels for Royal Mail parcels.
Please reconsider, this is yet another subsidy we just can't afford so will have to pass on to customers.

Report/enquire/request help with Tracking Number
Being able to Report a missing parcel or enquire/request further help with the Tracking Number in question from user Click&Drop account would be great. There is no easy way to contact Royal Mail if a parcel is undelivered. For example a Tracked 24 Track Your Item page says it has been delivered, but no PROOF image has been uploaded. The current system is a never-ending loop of contact pages.

Printing CN 22 Labels
I use the Standard A4 integrated S19 labels. This has always printed the CN 22 on a separate sheet, on the label at the foot of the sheet. The CN22s are now printing at the top of the sheet in portrait orientation meaning I am not able to use the sticky label. Can this be corrected.

Will I get an apology from admin for declining my bug notification?
CN22 total weight of items was always wrong because it matched the package label weight instead of just being a calculated weight of the items in the CN22.
I notified click and drop about this bug a long time ago and it was declined and I was told specifically that I was wrong and it was working correctly.
So can someone tell me why this issue has just been quietly fixed?
My latest batch of labels now has the correct weight in the CN22 which is a calculated weight of the items. This CN22 total weight is now independent from the label weight as it should have always been.
Well done for fixing this issue years after it was brought up and ignored.

Frustrating wrong customs details on printed labels
The customs details on the printed forms differ from the customs details in Settings - Customs.
- The name of the sender is pulled from somewhere else and is wrong.
- Under the sender address it places the order number and store name from Shopify, which is not always the correct one.
Can we please have customs details ONLY what is added in the settings in the C&D account, and not pulled from elsewhere? I've gone in circles to try and change it to correct details and can't find where it collects these details from. I now have to white out and edit every single label by hand to get rid of the faulty information.

Customer (Receiver) EORI field should be added as field in the address book
Our address book contains saved details for regular customers, covering 99% of our orders. With the upcoming Windsor Agreement, an additional field should be introduced in the address book to store customers’ EORI numbers. This would eliminate the need to manually enter the EORI each time an order is created. Instead, it should be saved within the address book and automatically populated when placing an order, ensuring a more efficient and seamless process.

Add option to change sender details in Customs Settings
I'm having difficulty finding where C&D picks the sender name for the Customs Settings. I've looked at every trading name (for different locations) etc and have been unable to find where it selects the sender details to edit that for applicable orders. It should be easy to change, but it's a maze of unknown origin.

I think Click & Drop should pull in the tax info from eBay’s new “Tax details” section and add it to the address label.
eBay used to include things like ABN numbers (for Australia, Norway, etc.) in the address itself, so they automatically showed up when printing with Royal Mail. Now they’ve moved that info to a separate “Tax details” section, and Click & Drop doesn’t pick it up anymore.
It would really help if that tax number could still be added somewhere on the label, so the customer wont get charged twice.5 votes -
Feature Request: Click & Drop – Save/Auto-Fill EORI, Product Description, and Customs Info for Repetitive NI Orders
Hi Click & Drop team,
We’re a high-volume UK seller, and we ship dozens of parcels daily to Northern Ireland, including many repeat business customers. Since recent customs changes, especially under the Windsor Framework, we've noticed that:
Every business parcel to Northern Ireland now requires us to manually enter the recipient’s XI EORI number. For each parcel, we must also manually re-enter the product name, declaration category, goods description, and value. The "default customs settings" in Click & Drop don't apply properly to Northern Ireland shipments anymore, even for identical products or repeat buyers. This has become incredibly time-consuming and error-prone.
✅ Feature Request:We’d like to request the following functionality in Click & Drop:
Saved customs profiles per product – so we can auto-fill declaration info (e.g. description, HS code, country of origin, value). Ability to save or recall EORI numbers for repeat NI business customers, based on buyer name or address. Customs auto-fill for Northern Ireland orders — just like how international orders are handled. Tag or flag business customers who require EORI for quicker processing. We're spending a huge amount of time each day manually completing customs info for parcels under £50 — often the same product, same buyer. If Click & Drop could allow us to create reusable templates or apply these details automatically, it would dramatically reduce our workload and improve accuracy.
Please let us know if this is something in the pipeline, or if there’s a workaround we’ve missed. Happy to provide more examples if needed.
Thanks for your continued support.
