  1. BUG : Shopify integration is ignoring edited packages

    Scenario

    • Some of our customer orders get fulfilled and shipped separately
    • We need to split shipments
    • We edit the package as required on Click & Drop before creating label

    Expected Result

    • Integration with Shopify should only auto-fulfil the items and add tracking as per the edited package so that the remaining items can be shipped separately.

    Actual Result

    • The integration is ignoring any edits to packages and is adding tracking within Shopify to all items on an order.
    • This is incredibly unhelpful and provides enormous scope for customers orders to then not be fulfilled as required.

    Hello and thank you for your suggestion. You can disable shipping updates for your Shopify store as described in your proposed solution. Please review settings / Integrations / Shopify and disable the option 'Mark orders as despatched on channel'.

  2. New Orders Grid - Tracking Numbers Link Don't Work

    In the new version of the orders grid, where the tracking number is shown, if you click on this link it does not take you to the track and trace page and complete the tracking number like it used to, it now takes you to a help page. Please can you fix this as otherwise it is pointless having the link there at all.

  3. Make Opening Orders in Tabs Optional in Settings

    Why does the new beta version of Open Orders seem to have a long list of tabs at the top with each order in it?
    I didn't see them at first and kept getting a message up saying "too many tabs open close some" or something similar. Then i noticed them a couple of weeks after starting to try this beta version and there were hundreds open.
    So i closed them all, but as soon as i clicked in each of the open ones on the page to apply postage, the tabs opened up again.
    I have NO IDEA what…

  4. Provide advance notice of Royal Mail postage price changes

    It would be helpful if a message was provided to users when they log in to warn them of any upcoming price changes to Royal Mail's postal services, say 1-2 weeks in advance.

    This would allow users to proactively made adjustments to their own shipping charges as necessary rather than having to monitor the Royal Mail website for price changes or else get caught out unexpectedly.

    Thanks for your suggestion.  Customers who have an OBA account with Royal Mail are emailed the details of our price changes 30 days prior to any tariff change alongside the consumer communication campaigns we push out via our communications teams for non-account customers.  We will consider how we can improve this in future changes

    Add the ability to filter by country.
    Add the ability to sort by weight.
    Add option to turn off product images.

    Hello and thank you for your suggestions. You can sort by weight in the new grid using the Package Format column, you can sort and filter by country using the Customer column. You can toggle the display of product images on and off using the Product Details column.

  6. New beta screen flow not reflecting previous flow

    On a personal account, the new beta screen flow does not behave the same as the previous version.

    If I have several orders going to multiple international and domestic addresses I can select them all and then choose on the next screen which to apply postage to (say domestic). Enter the details and the screen returns to the original selection page. The previous version went back so that I could select other orders from the initial selection rather than effectively starting the process again.

    Hello and thank you for your suggestion. We have improved the flow so that when applying postage to a mixed batch of international and domestic shipments you will be returned to a screen with only the initial selected orders. Further, this screen offers quick actions to select just domestic orders, international orders or orders to the EU.

  7. New Orders Grid: Product Name is Truncated. Show Full Product Name

    The new beta Orders Grid is less-usable for our business as the product name is truncated, showing ... at the end.

    Our unique product code to identify the item that was sold is at the end of the product name, therefore we will have to manually check eBay + Amazon to see what the customer has actually ordered.

  8. Reinstate The "Book a collection" Link After Paying

    Please can you return to having the "book a collection" link immediately after paying. This has disappeared this week.
    Now I can only book a collection as a separate activity prior to marking packages as "despatched".

  9. Beta Orders Grid Doesn't Display 'Generate Labels' After Applying Postage to a Batch

    In the current version, as soon as you apply postage to a batch, you can generate labels from a displayed link, but with the March 2023 Beta version, after applying postage you have to scroll manually to the top of the screen, click 'Batches' then generate labels. Very time-wasting compared to the current method. Also, when we have several staff working on dispatching at the same time, it is not clear which batches are which and this really slows down the process and disrupts the dispatch flow. Please put back the 'Generate Labels' link after applying postage, thanks.

  10. Support Filtering the Orders Grid by Country

    On the Beta version of OBA Click and Drop, you can sort by country, but you can't filter. When you try to click the drop down menu by 'Country', the whole section closes down as if you clicked off it. Needs fixing before the final build is released.

  11. Return Label Option

    Could we have a way we can just click on issue returns label for items already sent, it will then bill us and allow us to send to our customer,

    At the moment, we have to purchase a Returns Label on personal Click & Drop, with an unregistered account.

    C&D already has all the information needed on parcel weight and size. Just need the option added using the same information but going from them to us.

    You can purchase Tracked Returns labels in single or in bulk here:

    Alternatively, you can set a tracked return label to be generated with any given service in your account settings.


    Tracked Return labels are only billed to your account if used, meaning you can offer an improved experience to your customers, and reduce your administration for returns, by including a return label in your shipment without any cost if the label is unused.

    I have attempted to add another address, used it as default but you still use my first address to request pickups from.

    There should be an option to change the pickup address please.

  13. Shopify import Partialy Fulfilled Orders

    Currently, only unfulfilled orders are imported from Shopify.
    Partially Fulfilled Orders are not imported.

    This is a deal breaker for me as Evri does this automatically so I will be moving my business elsewhere until this is fixed.

  16. Update the system to show Tracked 24 and 48 items can be dropped off at post office

    I understand dropping off Tracked 24 and 48 items at a post office was not allowed until relatively recently.
    The 'https://www.royalmail.com/sending/uk/tracked-24' page clearly states 'Alternatively, you can choose to print and apply your own label and drop your Tracked 24 items off at a Post Office or at a Parcel Postbox near you.'

    However in several places, the web site and click and drop instructions have not been updated to reflect this.

    For example, the 'https://send.royalmail.com/' page has a graphic for the 'Print at home' option which suggests 'Take your item to a Post Office' but…

  17. Generate the required customs forms for posting goods to the Channel Islands

    Customs forms are required for sending goods to the Channel Islands: https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/98/~/help-sending-mail-to-the-channel-islands-and-isle-of-man

    These forms are not currently generated by the Click & Drop service. The service should generate them.

  19. Tracking status

    Tracking status, Click & Drop says this feature has been completed, but when I go to Reports, Manifested orders. The tracking status header is showing but there is no tracking information. Can this be sorted out as this would be very useful feature to keep check on the progress of our tracked mail we send via C&D without having to check each item individually .

  20. Add Notes on Orders

    We use Click & Drop as our sole dispatching software. It would be very useful to be able to add notes to orders, whereby if a customer has a specific request for an order, and they message us, we can add this to the notes and the notes will be printed on the label sheet.

    For example, "please send a blue one". Some of these details are not added at checkout, rather customers message us directly. We then have to locate the order, print it individually, and write on the individual note.

    You can already add both 'Staff Notes' and 'Customer Delivery Instructions' to an order. Customer Delivery Instructions are printed on the despatch note, whereas Staff notes are only visible in Click & Drop. You can access these notes by selecting an order and clicking 'Order details'.
