  1. Combine or Merge orders

    A function to merge orders.

    Functionality:

    You checkbox the orders you wish to combine then select the function from the lower right dropdown and products from both would pull into one order. Validation on address match would be necessary. Reference to original orders would need to be retained as they will need to post through to despatch on the sales channel(s) in question.

    Another way to approach the logic might be to simply allow the despatch of multiple orders as one despatch.

    Thank you all for your suggestions, but we have decided to decline this feature request. While it has some limited order management functionality, Click & Drop was designed primarily as a shipping solution, instead of an order management solution.
    We are looking to introduce the ability to specify more than one unique label per order, which along with our existing clone order functionality, will cover the basics needed to get the right number of labels for your eCommerce orders.

  2. Remove cancelled marketplace orders from C&D

    When an order is cancelled on eBay, Amazon, Etsy etc it should be removed from C&D. Or at least highlighted as cancelled.

  3. Printable Picking List

    Once an order (or number of orders) has been put into a batch, it would be most useful to allow a Batch Picking List to be printed (or exported) in order that those orders can be retrieved from the warehouse / stock room.

    They could then be weighed in order to achieve the average weight needed to Apply Postage and continue the process.

    For us (we sell on Amazon) the key fields needed on a Picking List would be:

    Seller SKU
    Item Description
    Channel Reference
    Customer Name
    Total Order Value (including any VAT)
    Product Image (I believe this is available…

  5. Sorting orders by product details (SKU)

    Why orders can't be sorted by product details?

    Orders can be sorted by every other details like channel, country, post code, customer name etc. The only way we can't sort orders list is by product details which in my opinion is must for every sellers. If we can sort orders by product details this will make life easy for packaging. we print orders on thermal printer and it will take forever to arrange orders based on products.

    I request royalmail technicians to please sort this out. If only we can arrange orders by product details(SKU) packaging time will take half…

    Hi, and thank you all for your suggestions.
    Unfortunately, due to the technical demand required, it has not been possible for us to allow you to filter your Orders pages by the SKU of the products contained within the order.
    As an alternative, we are going to be improving our full text search to allow you to search for more information, such as product names and SKUs.
    Additionally, we do offer the ability to print labels in SKU order. You can find this in your Settings> Label format.

  6. Show customer's postage selection from eBay.

    We provide several postage options for our customers. Most commonly 1st class standard, 1st class signed for and Special Delivery. Currently I have no idea which option they have selected. This needs to filter through from eBay along with the weights and sizes.

    All our items are individual sizes, weights and prices. Currently the system us unusable as we don't know which service to assign. We can input this info when listing on eBay but the C&D needs to read it!

    Thank you for your feedback. This is already possible to do. On your ‘Orders’ grid, select the small cog icon in the top right hand side of the grey bar – and then select ‘Store postage method’.
    This will allow you to view the shipping method your customers chose in your eBay store.

  7. Downloading every label?

    Basically I want to be able to view and print from site. Downloading and saving every label is going to use up valuable memory on the computer. If we could have it so we can just view and print from there, like the old system, that would be great.

    The ability to automatically download or open .PDF files is different depending on the web browser you use.
    To cater for the wide variety of systems used by our customers, is is important that we allow our customers the option to download .PDF files directly as an alternative to our Auto Print functionality.

  8. Display product size/colour variations on despatch note

    We would like to be able to display product variation fields such as 'Size' and 'Colour' alongside the product name on the despatch notes.

    We have created a Product Catalogue on C&D with the variations written in the product name but sadly when orders are imported from Magento using the API, the Magento store view product name (with no variation data) overrides any custom Product name data created in C&D.

    Hi and thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately as a free-to-use shipping solution, Click & Drop does not support kit or variant products, and we do not offer customisable despatch notes.
    This functionality could be expected from subscription based order management software.
    We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

  9. Return address on label resize looks terrible

    Last night there's been an update. This morning I've seen what it is. The return address has been increased in size. It looks TERRIBLE. Also in the past there's been many reroutes due to machines misinterpreting where mail is to go and sending stuff back to return address. Surely this will just exacerbate this? While on the subject of labels the little hand scanner symbol below the return address really needs to be higher resolution most label printers can do 200 dpi with 300 being the norm and that symbol looks to be less than 70dpi

  11. enable users to place money on account rather than paying for each item individually

    The old system allows you to load your account from a credit card and then pay from the balance for each item of postage. With the new system, you have a transaction (credit card or Paypal) for each item posted, which is a real pain when you post ~1000 items per year!

    Thank you for your suggestions. Royal Mail will no longer be allowing customers to pay for postage using pre-paid accounts, but we are planning to introduce alternative payment methods to Paypal.
    We will provide further updates as soon as we can.

  12. Compensation from Royalmail for Click Drop Being Out of Services Techical issues

    Today all our orders are delayed because click and drop had technical issues.

    This affects our selling channel account ratings and gives us negative feedback for orders arriving later than expected.

    We should be given a discount on days for click and drop technical issues that hold back our business

  13. RM24 & RM48 NO COMPENSATION FOR LOST ITEMS DUE TO DELIVERY CONFIRMATION

    I use RM24 & RM48 to ship items via Click & Drop now I’m amused that theirs no cover for lost items and have been told on numerous occasions by Royal Mail that you don’t offer compensation due this service having delivery confirmation which does not work on average I have 15 items a week where customers state they have not received the item, I check tracking and nothing come up and therefore I can only assume the posties are not scanning items at point of delivery.

    I’m sick & tired of paying for a service which is clearly advertised…

  14. "RESEND" button

    It would be convenient to add a "resend" button. This way, you wouldn't have to manually enter the same address again if you need to resend a lost item.

  15. Scrap CRL24/48 if you cannot get postmen to scan every packet

    Only around 50% of my CRL24 / 48 packages are actually scanned. Most arrive fine but it's very bad that so many aren't even scanned. It's a pointless service so I'm switching back to BPL - had enough.

    Surely there's a case to made that if there is no scan at delivery you should get back the shipping fee? Anyone up for a class action?

  17. Combine/merge orders

    The ability to combine orders into a single shipment has been raised before and was declined on 12/9/19 by Click&Drop Admin. With the increasing importance of electronic customs information and printed CN22 documents there is a danger of incorrect information being sent and I urge Click&Drop Admin to reconsider this suggestion.

    Consider two orders for single products - creating the postage for either will result in incorrect information being used for customs. Really need the ability to combine the orders as manually updating the products on one order is error prone.

  18. Provide tacking number for large letters that works for BPL

    Provide tacking number for large letters that works for BPL. It seems that click and drop thought that it had been implemented, but it doesn't work for BPL even though after talking to my postie, they have to scan all 2D bar-codes on large letters when delivered. So the data is there but doesn't work for BPL

  19. Customer Services Live Chat

    Why not produce a Live Chat that can be quickly and easily accessed through the C & D System where we can chat directly with a Human Customer Services Representative? This surely would speed up your reaction times!

  20. Encourage delivery person to scan the labels!

    Add the text "scan barcode on delivery" or similar to the labels.

    Out of the last 150 parcels I've sent 23 haven't been scanned. This is a 15% failure rate.

    Unless it improves I'll continue to only send low value parcels by royal mail and the couriers can continue to have the rest. Your lazy postmen are costing you business!
