Add Chile 'RUT' pre-tax registration scheme
Add Chile's RUT to pre-tax registration schemes, as eBay are now collecting sales tax, and Chile Post require all incoming items to have tax pre-paid. Items without this marked on them are subject to customs processing delays.

Add DDP for Large Letters to the USA
Add Large Letters with DDP for the USA please.
80% of my orders are Large Letters to the USA and today I had to send them as Parcels which has increased my shipping costs hugely.11 votes -
Collections from other addresses
Why is there not the same facility as the WDMO for arranging collections? A collection on the WDMO system was easy to arrange and the driver collected the item and when they arrived they had a label to attach to the item.
Now we need to add the collection address to our own business address and email a label for the to the person the item is being collected from, this seems another step backwards4 votes -
improve quality of thermal labels
The thermal labels have a line down the middle of them. I thought this would get better after paying for them, but no. This line goes through the customs and tracking number. so I end up having to print about 10 labels to get just one that is ok.

Refunds and Customs Duties
I had two orders where I had entered the details for sale to the US, and applied the postage. Both items were sent International Tracked and attracted US customs of £3.20 including the 50p handling fee.
However, after printing the labels, the customers decided to change their order, so I asked for a refund "Order placed by mistake".
I received the refund in due course, but NOT the US customs charge or handling fee.
There is no reason for that - Royal Mail should know that the packages were not posted and therefore not pay out the US customs or handling fee.

Inaccurate delivery time - Very damaging to Shopify/eBay/Amazon accounts
In the Shopify connection/integration C&D shows inaccurate delivery completion. When the order has already been delivered RM remains "in transit". For sellers this delay notification is extremely damaging and downgrades your account on Shopify, eBay, Amazon and other sales channels. They interpret this that your order is not arriving on time as promised and at times can even generate a full refund for items already delivered, and your account gets tagged and gets downgraded, or even blacklisted.
RM got my entire account ruined in the past having by having completely faulty delivery updates. It's VITAL that deliveries are completely accurate.1 vote -

Allow copy & paste / drag & drop into address search box on Create Order page
On the new Click & Drop “Create Order” page, the “Search for an Address book entry or a UK address” field no longer allows copy & paste or drag & drop of addresses.
This was possible in the previous version and was a huge time-saver when processing orders from platforms like eBay and Amazon Seller Central.
At the moment:
You can still paste or drag & drop into fields like Name, Company, Email, and Phone Number
But the address search box does not accept pasted or dragged textThis means addresses now have to be typed manually, which:
Slows down order processing significantly
Increases the risk of typing errors
Makes bulk dispatch workflows much less efficientSuggested improvement: Please restore the ability to:
Paste a full address into the address search box
Drag & drop an address into the field (as before)This small change would make a big difference for anyone processing multiple orders daily.

PROBLEM WITH CLICK AND DROP - DUPLICATING AND CLONING ORDERS TONIGHT AT 16.31HRS
We have over 220 orders that have been cloned by click and drop today at 16.31hrs. Every one of these orders originated from yesterdays orders and have the exact order number across all of our platforms including ebay, amazon and our own website. massive risk of our customers receiving double orders had we not spotted the issue. Please advise urgently

Work with customers
I can’t tell you how difficult it has been to book postage today. I’m very tech-savvy, yet changes made to your interface over the past couple of weeks have resulted in me wasting two hours simply trying to buy postage.
Why aren’t customers involved when changes like this are being developed and tested? The new interface is neither intuitive nor easy to navigate, and what should be a straightforward task has become unnecessarily complicated.
Even finding a way to leave this feedback was difficult. Please take this seriously and review the booking process from a customer’s point of view.

Can we pre-select the option 'IOSS PDDP' when an IOSS number is present?
Could you not change the system to pre-select the option "Taxes have been prepaid via IOSS and I will pay any duties and taxes. (IOSS PDDP)" when an IOSS number is present, i.e. when an order is pulled from Amazon or eBay?
When a marketplace order is pulled into Click and Drop and the IOSS number of the marketplace (eBay, Amazon etc.) is also pulled through, would it not make more sense for Click and Drop to assume that you are going to want to have the VAT paid via the IOSS, leaving only the taxes to be paid to Royal Mail?
At the moment I have to select this option from the dropdown menu for every order and changing this would significantly lower the time spent applying postage to such orders.
Sending to Germany is great for this since sending to Germany with DDU is no longer supported and so the option of "IOSS PDDP" is pre-selected by default since nothing else is supported.
Can you not just apply the same logic to orders that have an IOSS number present?

1 voteHi,
Thank you for your post. Whilst the delivery term will not default to an IOSS delivery term automatically based on you providing an IOSS reference (there are instances when an IOSS reference can be provided but the delivery term is not an IOSS term), it is possible to set a default delivery term to be used for international shipments
This can be set by signing in on Click and Drop and selecting Settings > Customs and in the "Miscellaneous" section and selecting a suitable value from the "Default selection for paying customs and handling fees" drop down.
More information can be found at How to configure customs and handling fees for international orders
We hope this helps with your issue, but should you require any further help please do not hesitate to call the Support Team on (0345) 2661 004.

postage cost reporting for tax purpose
It would be really handy if there was a report to see what I have paid on postage by day month or year (so I can use it for tax deductions) ???

Revert to previous Click and Drop
Please allow users the option to revert to the previous version of click and drop. The latest version which was forced upon us without notice is shocking. Whoever created it has obviously never processed shipments as it is all over the place and unclear to see if address details have been input correctly

Creating address function
Have noticed after upgrade that the ability to enter data has changed and makes it more time consuming
1. create another - this I notice has been added back in, thank you
2. when 'creating another' the cursor would automatically go back to search for new data, you now have to click into cell
3. once you found the correct data, you could enter and the cursor would automatically go into the cell to enter name, you now have to click into cell
Please look at the above and help us enter the data as swiftly as we were able to before the upgrade. Thanks in advanceHave noticed after upgrade that the ability to enter data has changed and makes it more time consuming

Allow Merging of more than 16 items.
I often have customers oder 30 or more items as I do live auctions. It would be great to be able to merge more than 16 at once.

Make IOSS drop down choice available through the C&D API
I try manifesting international orders through the Click & Drop API.
There is one step that I cannot do:
The Customs Details require selecting "IOSS DDU" or "DDU" (sometimes also "DDP"?)
The API only allows setting these fields: customsDutyCosts, IOSSNumber.
How can I select this information to manifest and ship the orders without the online API?1 voteHi,
In order to provide the Delivery Terms, such as "IOSS DDU" or "DDU", via the API then please use the `deliveryTerm` field.
Details of this can be found on the Redoc page under "Orders > Create Orders > Items" at https://api.parcel.royalmail.com/#tag/Orders/operation/CreateOrdersAsync
We hope that this information is useful, but if you do require further support please do not hesitate to contact us via the Support Page https://help.parcel.royalmail.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115003806094-Contact-Support

Improve Click & Drop
Click and drop is becoming infuriating.
Despite sending the same size of package with the same postage I have to click through too may items, surely it should be possible to create a default item profile including the payment options.
The payment process keeps defaulting almost everytime - it partially lands then goes to an error page.
And often the postage labels don't download, I have to go back, search for the order and re-generate the labels.
This is adding so much time an annoyance to running my business.1 vote -

Update the API specification for the customsDeclarationCategory update
We received a notice from you about the changes to the customs declaration category, see below.
When I go the the Products page as suggested, I can see there are two new categories: Commercial Sale of Goods (B2B) and E-commerce Goods (B2C).
When I look at the current specification, it is still version 1.0.0.
In the customsDeclarationCategory field, these are missing.
Now, I wonder how to set these fields and if they are required.API: https://api.parcel.royalmail.com/

If you cannot do that, please let me know what the new values are that are accepted.----------------- Royal Mail message below -----------------
We recently notified you about a legislative change affecting item
declaration categories. As part of this change, the 'Sale of goods' and 'Mixed' declaration
categories will soon no longer be valid. Using either of these
categories will prevent your orders from being processed, so any
products in your catalogue currently assigned to them will need to be
updated before this takes effect. To help you do this, we have added a migration tool to the Products
page:
https://business.parcel.royalmail.com/productsThis tool will also update your default customs package contents
declaration category if it is currently set to 'Sale of goods' or
'Mixed'. If your product declaration categories already meet the
updated requirements, the tool will not be displayed. We received a notice from you about the changes to the customs declaration category, see below.
