Customs Data Electronic Advanced Notification
Can you please advise us when the automatic submission of customs data to other countries goes live. I note that as you are still unable to edit/change products once added to an order, or unable to split an order, much of the product data that is attached to my international labels is incorrect. I just override the weight to be the correct value and leave the incorrect product information as is and hand write a CN22 form. So, given the product information, when submitted electronically by RM on behalf of the sender is a legal declaration of the contents of a parcel, we really do either need a way of editing an orders contents, or disabling the submission of incorrect product data for an order.
I guess an alternative is to get a black marker and cross out the customs barcode on the label so it cannot be scanned.
I notice that if I download an order from my Magento store, that the CN22 and customs data total value includes the postage value, but if i create the order manually in C&D and add the same product details, the CN22 and customs data total value does not include the postage value.
Royal Mail helpdesk say that CN22's should now include the postage value in the total, so how do I accomplish this when entering orders manually.
I was told by RM that if i crossed out the barcode to stop anyone accessing the electronic customs information when i know the information is incorrect will be classed as defacing a label and will not be accepted. Meanwhile im getting call from my DHL account manager tomorrow regarding switching to Global Mail.
I refuse to sign a CN22 when i know the info on it is wrong.
It's already past 1 Jan 2019, this feature needs to be available right now.
Well, we are now live, and we still don't have the ability to edit customs information.
I need to be able to remove products from an order.
At the moment for certain orders I am attaching unsigned CN22's with a note on them that the information is incorrect, and customs should use the attached customs invoice for declaration purposes.
When will you fix this!
Presumably this ability will be added in the next couple of days as it is due to go live on the 1st of next month. If not, can you advise on the appropriate method that we should use to stop Royal Mail making a legal declaration on my behalf when I know the information that you will be declaring is incorrect?
