Full view of delivery status on dashboard
We can view a dahsboard of what deliveries have been posted out, but not the status. To avoid clicking on every . single . sent . item to see if it has been successful / if a card has been left / if a delivery has been attempted and will be re-delivered/needs attention (action from customer) / etc, it would be more useful if the dashboard seperated this out in an easy view. Then we could open the problem item tracking details for full information and take any relevant action, rather than have to hunt for any problems/delays. This would help us give the best customer service to our customers.
Our previous service sperated this out to 'On it's Way & No Delay', 'Useful to Know', 'We Need Your Help', 'Delivered'.
We found this essential in providing a good service & info to customers.

We are pleased to announce we have been able to begun work on this feature. We plan to improve our order timeline, so that you can see exactly which stage of the process each item is in, including when your item is in transit, and has been delivered.
Click & Drop support
Totally agree with Chris, although I think "disappointing" is a mild description for the lack of support we get on here by the Click & Drop team.
This is a VERY welcome announcement. Although the fact that you have only ‘begun’ to work on it 3 years after many people told you that this was very necessary is disappointing. Let’s hope it doesn’t take another 3 years to complete the work that has now begun!

The Tracking column in Click and Drop only shows a tracking number for items for which tracking has been purchased. By contrast, delivery status is available for all UK parcels on the Royal Mail Track and Trace page. That status could be used to update the "Status" column in Click and Drop from "Despatched" to "Delivered".
As per my last comment, Admin on here are still ignoring and not responding to this issue.
Friday 1st February 2019 I dropped 3 sacks of mail containing 66 parcels into my local delivery office at 11am.
Today Tuesday 5th February 2019 not one is showing as being delivered.
To find this out I had to click on each tracking number on the order in C&D, not only is this a time-consuming thankless task, but to add to the frustration, after the first 10 or so I had to then answer a stupid capture every-time.
It wold be useful to have some sort of delivery confirmation like a tick box on the orders overview.
Or a report that can bulk check tracking instead of doing them one at a time
This is working for us now. If you map the import delivery instructions to the 'Safeplace' field, it appears.
Could someone from Royal Mail take 30 seconds out of their busy day and reply to this suggestion? If this is in the pipeline, please let us know. If you have no intention of ever doing it - well, let us know that too so we can consider other available options!

I disconnected the service from updating Amazon & Ebay as my Late deliveries were increasing due to RM system telling the market place the details of the tracking
We currently use RM for all our parcels 1,000+ a month, but as we grow, we will also look to move to a modern thinking courier service that puts customers first with technology that helps grow the business.

100% agree. This is currently the biggest flaw in Click & Drop.
This is my BIGGEST irritation with the current system. Until recently we were able to use an app called Aftership which tracked all our consignments (including Royal Mail) and reported the status. Recently Royal Mail have prevented 3rd party providers from gaining access to their tracking information which means this system no longer works. I wouldn't mind if Royal Mail had their own version of this, but they simply haven't and no-one I have spoken to seems to think there is one in the pipeline. It is ludicrous to expect businesses who ship hundreds of items to track them one at a time. If they don't fix this soon I may have to switch to other providers (who are all still trackable by Aftership!)
I can't say how much this would help us! They really need to add this.
I have been asking them to do this for a while but they seem reluctant to do it.
If we knew the item was waiting to be collected we could chase the customer to arrange the re delivery or go and collect the item.
Your right it would be a lot of work, hence the problem...
When you say:

That is easy to answer, we live in the age of the computer and items are marked as awaiting collection, otherwise how would you know on The tracking system?
Items in Click & Drop could be flagged as delivered as well as awaiting collection, without the need to click through to another web site to read the tracking.

That's what the Track and Trace system is for. I'm not sure how Click & Drop would know which ones have been delivered or not, unless you marked each one as delivered yourself? Seems like a lot of work to me.
Which orders have NOT been delivered and within that we need to see if items are at the local DO awaiting for collection.
