Hide postage cost option
It would be handy to hide the shiping cost as its not necessary for the customer to see how much ive paid.
Hi and thank you for your suggestions.
Due to the feedback we have received, we have started to work on an option to hide this postage cost from labels.
We expect work on this to begin soon, but we cannot offer a fixed date yet for when this will be implemented. Please keep an eye on the latest release information on our help pages.

Hi - another 'Please add this feature'
It's quite disappointing to see this has been going on since 2017, but really excited to see that it's finally looking like it's going to be addressed.
Any chance we'll see this feature before the Christmas order rush starts! pretty please!

Thank you for responding and for looking into this RM, we are all eager for a fix sooner rather than later.
Glad to see that Royal Mail are taking action on this. I think everyone on this thread would appreciate updates of this scheduled work as it's an inconvenience that many small businesses could do without given the current climate.
Please add this ASAP on none of your labels I’ve used before it had the price so please remove it thanks have a nice day
Wow. What an oversight Royal Mail. This is total madness and I would go as far to say stupid. As with most businesses I'm sure this is going to cause me all sorts of headaches. I'll be moving back to using couriers or printing my labels through PayPal as that hides the price. I need to mark up my postage prices slightly to allow for packaging costs/loss/damage etc. Please sort this out urgently. This aside Click&Drop is pretty good but you've lost me until this is sorted, totally unusable with the price printed on the labels.
Does anyone know if this feature has been updated? It’s really annoying that it shows the price on the label. Or could you just cut the bottom of the label off?
Idiotic I can't believe this is forced on us.
I bought a book of stamps recently. It doesn't show the price on them.
I bought an RM label through eBay. It doesn't show the price on it.
Why do we have to show it on these C&D labels?
Load of people want the option but, being the public service that you are, I know you can choose to ignore your customers. We want this feature and it would take next to no time to implement it.
Remember, we are the people who you generate revenue off, not the people receiving...
I spend over £10K a year on this, and am about to look at a company that doesn't implement pointless features and does listen to its paying customers.
Don't worry though, if we all leave and your profits fall, the government will bail you out again (Remember Consignia...)
can you please advise as to why you won't give the option to remove the postal charge as it doesn't appear when using Ebay to despatch via Royal Mail?
Absolutely ridiculous that this is not optional - everyone else can sort it why do you insist on not listening to your customers????
There are two threads on here which get a lot of comments.
The first is this one from customers using C+D without a business account who are complaining (quite rightly) that they do not want the cost of the postage paid shown on the label.
The second is one where business users are asking to know the price before we manifest.
Can anyone else see the irony here ?
I'd like it removed. It's an irrelevance at best and a conflict point with customers at worst. We charge a flat postage rate - which means that we gain a few pennies on some and lose (sometimes substantially) on others. Having just bought a label printer to simplify postage, I'm seriously considering changing provider if there is no option to suppress the postage charge/method from being shown. If I take it to a post office, the amount isn't shown, so why does it have to be here?

As a business supplier to non-business (retail) customers, I don't like the fact that they have access to ANY of my businesses financial details. ALL of the items I post in the UK are free and the cost to the rest of the EU and the RotW are less than I am charged by the Royal Mail.
So why do my customers need to see this?
And the statement "The postage cost is a part our our new labels designs" is stupid and pointless. We already know it's part of the design. This is why we are actually posting here to have it removed. If the Royal Mail need this information for metrics, can you not just include it in the QR code (and I suspect that you already do).
The postage cost being displayed is nothing but an inconvenience to many. Look at the number of people taking the time to comment!
Just add an option to hide the value. It can't be that difficult. People who want it displayed can have it displayed, and people who don't shouldn't have to.
Also, please give people an option to have their postage labels printed in landscape and as a standalone document. I don't need arrows, guides or the 'certificate of posting' on the same sheet. Would be much easier when printing directly onto envelopes.
This feature would be very beneficial. Please can this be added!
As everybody else mentioned here, implement the feature, why you think it is useful to show the costs on labels? it only creates problems, if you don't allow costs to remain hidden we will start moving to Hermes
please add this feature we all need it and it’s very clear it’s a problem for us sellers
when is this going to be added?
Please add the option to remove the cost. It's confusing our customers who've had "FREE P&P" offers applied and then see a postage charge on their parcel.
