Half page proof of postage on separate page.
I like the half page proof of postage (PoP). A pre-printed PoP speeds up the process at the counter. A half page PoP makes efficient use of paper.
But a half-page PoP is not a selectable option without also having a quarter A4 size label included.
I use 4 labels per A4 page self-adhesive labels for address printing. I want to continue using these self-adhesive label sheets, but at the moment I have to have the half page PoP on the same page, across the bottom two blank labels.
Or continue to rely on PO counter staff to print out from Horizon a PoP for each letter.
My local post office told me they wouldn't accept my click and drop parcel unless I printed my own proof of postage, because 'they don't make any money from it'. I went home to investigate and discovered that you can do this BUT you can only print the proof of postage on the same A4 page as the postage label.
I use a sheet of 4 pre-cut sticker labels so my proof of postage would be printed across two labels or I have to print it all again on a new sheet of paper, wasting my ink, stickers and paper! This is expensive, wasteful and idiotic! Please sort it out so that I can print these separately to my labels.
Also, is my local post office allowed to reject my click and drop (personal account) parcels without a print out of a proof of postage for them to stamp?
If I could vote more than once I would. You can't print off the PoP using the separate label & despatch note template without printing it across the labels - so silly. It would be an easy fix to allow us to print the PoP on a seperate blank paper page.
