Develop an integration with Cubecart
The list of current integrations for Click and Drop is very limited to the big ones. Please do consider to work with smaller UK ecommerce platforms like Cubecart https://www.cubecart.com .
With the requirement of electronic customs pre-advice when posting parcels overseas coming soon, we are most concerned as to how we will address this efficiently. More burden again on small businesses so please assist us all. Thank you.
We send over 300 parcels per day, with at least 25% of them through Royal Mail.
£10m per year turn over, not exactly a small company by any means.
Please help the Cubecart team achieve their goals.

I have used the cubecart platform for a number of years and the eBay extensions to send thousand of craft items a year (via cubecart) to customers all over the UK, Europe and the USA. I am currently using a mailmark franking machine but would use Click and Drop if this was developed for cubecart.
So I wrote this thread 2 and half years ago and nothing has changed with a deadline looming upon us on 1st January 2021 !
As of last week, you are refusing access to the API to the ecommerce platform Cubecart that we are using on the basis that it would require too much technical support unless the user is shipping more than 100 parcels a day....
1. Being a platform, Cubecart is representing hundred of merchants shipping with Royal Mail so the excuse of minimum 100 parcels a day is not valid. Collectively we obviously ship far more than 100 a day.
2. Cubecart is offering to develop the integration for its merchants at no cost to you and not asking for your technical support. They will do the work.
Cubecart should therefore be counted as one user being a plaftorm just like Ebay for instance. Afterall, there are plenty of small Ebay sellers sending less than 100 items a day allowed to use Ebay integration with Click and Drop, and that's not a problem for you.
With a no deal Brexit approaching fast, we will have even more obligations when shipping to the EU as well, so be proactive and give the API access to small ecommerce platforms so that UK merchants like ourselves can continue to deliver a first class service to our customers.
Failing to do so will mean to opt for other couriers. This would be a shame after 10 years as an OBA account holder !

As a UK based Royal Mail and Cubecart user I cannot understand the reluctance of Royal Mail to allow Cubecart access to your API. With the current situatiion within Royal Mail and the vast amounts of money it is losing I would have thought that you would be encouraging people to use Royal Mail, not deterring people from using it. Please reconsider your decision on this matter
We would also call on Royal Mail to reconsider their decision on this matter. We host and support hundreds of CubeCart customers many of whom are UK based and there are many thousands more UK users hosted elsewhere. For the UK postal service to only support very large software packages most of whom are USA based, is completely wrong

Please can Royal Mail provide us with API access so that we can develop this integration for hundreds of our UK merchants. Please contact me firstname.lastname@example.org.
