The click and drop site along with Royal Mail online is not very user friendly. It requires users to spend a lot of time trying to resolve outstanding issues.
I believe as a part of the manifest order report there should be a button to report packages that have not been delivered.
Ideally after 7 calendar days from dispatch click and drop customer can click a button to say item is not arrived. On the back end an auto email is generated to the appropriate department with the reference number and delivery address. If the item is not able to be delivered then an automatic credit is applied to the user's bill.
