customs label date and signature auto completed
As someone who posts hundreds of items to the USA it is annoying to have to date and sign each customs label by a pen, when the date can easily be generated and printed onto the customs label and a signature can be uploaded to click and drop and printed onto customs labels automatically similar to how Amazon handle custom labels.
We are pleased to announce that we have now added this feature into Click & Drop.
For more information on how to add a custom image, please take a look at our help guide:
The ability to have both the date and (an uploaded) signature image automatically populate the CN22 customs form would seem a relatevlet simple thing to implement considering all the awesome and vastly more complex things that Click&Drop already does.
@C&D Admin --- When is this due to be implemented? before 2020?
Any update on this? Would be handy to have it implemented before this year's Halloween.
They can fill all the other options so there is no reason, from a website design prospective, that they can't do this.
I wish they would stop X'ing the wrong box at the top though. We have to X the correct one and hope customs are happy with 2 boxes X'ed :-(
Now that all overseas orders will have a form, it would save some time if the at least the date is added automatically.

Having checked with UK Customs they advise that the CN22 is a declaration and therefore should be signed, failing to do so could lead to delays in customs clearance at the country of entry, so someone somewhere is giving out false information about signing them.
"You don't need to date or sign CN22 forms. These fields can be safely ignored"
My advice from Royal Mail is the opposite. We are delaying using C&D for this precise reason as it is crazy to expect us to sign/date hundreds of parcels every day. The fix for this would be a very simple bit of coding. I can't understand why this hasn't already been implemented.

Have you noticed that when importing orders from your commerce site that the CN22 total value includes postage, but when you create orders directly in C&D the CN22 does not include postage in the total value. How do you get around it? You can no longer manually alter the CN22, as the value is also submitted electronically now.
This has come before, but no progress by the looks of it:
We second this suggestion. The date on the CN22 could also be automatically added with the date the label is generated.

When printing a CN22 all the data is filled automatically apart from the signature. Please may you add the facility to upload a signature to be kept on file that Click and Drop can then auto populate in the signature field to save us manually having to do this. Picking up a pen to sign each label is a bit inefficient. Many thanks.
Great idea, and make it part of the current address label , not another label the same size as the address label....

Excellent idea ! Get it implemented.
