Add tracking to first and second class postage
Now that we have tracking/barcodes included on standard shipping to Europe as well as the rest of the world, can we now please have it added to standard 1st and 2nd class postage in the UK so that we can claim back up to £20 for lost and damaged items without having to get proof of postage.
Hi and thanks for your suggestion.

America's US Postal Service provides free barcode labels; I think that since Royal Mail now has the information for all Click and Drop items, they ought to allow free tracking; it would give so much more peace of mind to RM users. Of course there would be a surge in usage at first, but it would soon quiet down.
barcode on standard shipping to europe that has appeared is likely the barcode for customs tracking and not for package tracking (I think it has a code beginning with U IIRC) you can't normally track these (occasionally they do get tracked accidentally though in some areas). It's most likely that this has appeared on EU orders due to brexit preparations.
in the business account, 1st and 2nd does have a delivery track number, but non uk don't unless you pay for it.
Can the original poster please explain where and how he gets this option please?

Really? Tracking is on standard overseas large letter and parcel deliveries? Not seeing any tracking codes in Click&Drop
