Provide compostable 4x6" labels
I'm working hard to make all of my packaging compostable but it somewhat defeats the purpose when an A5 envelope has a huge non-compostable label on the front. The backing paper needs to be compostable too. I'm generating so much more waste now that I've moved to click and drop!!
Hi and thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately, this User Voice page is only for the Click & Drop website itself.
If you have issues with Royal Mail products or services, we would urge you to contact our customer service team who will be happy to help.
This is an embarrassing issue. All of our box and paper tape is recyclable. But the address label has BPA in it. I realise this is a huge deal, and may take time to solve. But it is very much needed.
I suspect that handheld inkjet printers printing directly on the package may be one way of going. At first sight it looks like a technical issue to be solved by labelling companies, not Royal Mail, but when RM is the elephant in the business, it has to lead on this.
Couldn't agree more!
