allow us to print maifest on 6x4 with scannable barcode.
I have only got a 6x4 thermal printer in the warehouse - no A4 printer. therefore I print my manifest at scaled size onto 6x4 labels - I've just been called by the local delivery office to ask me to print them bigger as they cant scan them. - I don't have a printer to do that.
PLEASE configure the barcode on the manifest to allow it to be scanned properly when printed on the 6x4 lables.
I replicate the barcode on a 6x4 label which is cut to size of the tags so all bags are scannable without even opening them
My local office can not scan my manifest bar codes on an A4 sheet of paper. I am currently in direct contact with Click & Drop to resolve this issue.
But is your lack of an A4 printer really a Royal Mail problem? I have a a4 laserjet printer that I brought 20 years ago for printing invoices / manifests etc. I print my labels using a Zebra GK420D.
How many people have a spare printer? I know I don't, printing the invoices / manifests I could get done locally but not sure about the 6x4 labels and without them the mail is going nowhere.
Royal Mail need a manifest in with your mail, do you not do that? I too would like to save paper and not print them on an a4 printer everyday!
hi Andy , i have same issue with you. what i am assuming , if the problem is only scanning the barcodes, so we could create barcodes that related order numbers on manifest at spare 6x4 paper. therefore they can scan it . i use p-touch editor for creating barcods also print them . hopefully it works for you as well.
