Fix broken Local Collect postcode validation to improve customer experience
We are regularly seeing Post Offices that have been retrieved and reserved by the Local Collect API being rejected by Click & Drop as a broken system of postcode validation has been implemented. Our customers choose this for convenience, yet we are having to call them and try to find Post Offices that Click & Drop will accept.
Apparently this is updated monthly but I believe this is a deeper issues as we are seeing this issue weekly which is unlikely to be solely down to Post Offices removing themselves from the Local Collect solution.
As a company who has invested into developing our own integration with Local Collect, this is very disappointing. Sadly, Royal Mail do not appear to care about businesses who want to use their products unless they are large retailers. I can see that Amazon shows the same Post Offices as available for pickup in their checkout, I'm sure they are able to deliver to these locations and if not, would have their issue fixed.
I wonder whether Click & Drop is taking the capacity availability at a given time of the month and then assuming this Post Office is not available for the whole month? This would create more discrepancies so may be worth looking into. Of course capacity is supposed to be managed by the Local Collect API and should not be blocked by Click & Drop except perhaps in extreme circumstances.
I am posting here as a last resort to see if someone will look into it. Having spoken to Click & Drop support several times in the last 3 months, the issue has not been addressed. If this continues we will have no choice but to redevelop integration with DPD pickup shops or Collect+.

Unfortunately this issue continues to affect our business.
We are now seeing issues with the following Post Office when using local collect through Click & Drop:
ParcelShop Kensington Central Library Post Office
12 Philmore Walk
I understand that this is a new Post Office as per the following article however this was announced January 7th so would have expected it to be in Click & Drop by now?
I do not believe that monthly updates are sufficient for business purposes, the customers select these Post Offices directly on our checkout from Royal Mail's own API.
The data used should be the same for both to allow us to use the service as expected.
