Automatically print CN22 customs labels for BFPO addresses / BF1 Postcodes.
ALL mail sent to BFPO addresses / BF1 Postcodes requires CN22 customs labels, even if the location is within the UK.
This is probably is case the mail gets forwarded outside the UK.
Can Click & Drop be set to automatically generate CN22 customs labels for British military addresses?
Astonishing that this has not happened despite Royal Mail having a year to get their act together. British forces personnel are really struggling as they can't get things sent to them.
This is incredibly simple to implement. They just need to create a new custom country to ship to called "British Forces Post Office" which uses UK postage but generates the customs form.
NB. The more intuitive custom country would be "United Kingdom - BFPO" but it needs to be selectable as a country in eCommerce platforms, and resistant to accidential use, which United Kingdom - BFPO would not be. This is important because its use would also remove VAT at checkout.
unbelievable that this is still not working. What have you been doing? This is a legal requirement, and you do not provide the necessary to ship legally to BFPO recipients.
Just had a package returned...
ROYAL MAIL SHOULD PROVIDE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION FOR ALL POSTAGE DESTINATIONS INSTEAD OF DISCRIMINATING AGAINST THE ARMED FORCES, BY FAILING TO PROVIDE THE CN22, LIKE ALL OTHER INTERNATIONAL ORDERS .

We have had a parcel returned as no CN22 as these are now required by BFPO as of May 2021. Furthermore it will need to be sent electronically due to new international shipping requirements.
Is there currently anyway to work around this in Click & Drop? I am not aware of any way of generating customs docs for a UK order - does using the UK - Jersey or UK - Guernsey trigger this? Presumably that would enforce a postcode requirement (eg. JE1).
It looks like a new United Kingdom - BFPO option might be required. Is this currently on the roadmap as BFPO has already brought in these changes.
A whole year later this feature is still required.
