Show the pricing
… they have it on for journey 1 & 2 but not 3 … would be a big plus

The price for manifested orders is now shown once manifesting has been completed.
Should you have any questions regarding this please do not hesitate to contact the Click & Drop Support Team.

This is in no way "completed". I had a tiny parcel to the USA, the customer paid for priority shipping, which gives several options in click & drop, but NONE show the price. It was only after manfiesting that I found out it cost us £18 in shipping. It should have been so much cheaper, but this needs to be shown at the "apply postage" stage when you can compare the options, and not after manifesting, when you don't then have a chance to delete and start again!

Your admin chaps do not get the point! Please tell us the cost BEFORE we manifest!!!! I have a parcel to send to Thailand. I need to know how much it will cost BEFORE I manifest. Yesterday I sent a parcel by carrier because I thought you would not be competitive. Only to find out afterwards that it would have cheaper with you! You are losing sales. Cannot you understand this????

I still do not understand your constant need for pricing. I have a contract with RM, they bill me after x amount has been spent.
I know my costs as I am business, I do not need to see them on a daily / individual basis.
Why do you not know your costs with RM?

Royal mail needs to start showing the prices, it's really putting me off using it & i dont trust royal mail not to rob me blind.

has this happened yet ? I still can't see how much each item as cost after manifesting even thought the overall price can be seen .

Is there any option to hide the price from the shipping label on click and drop ?
I don-t want to show the price on my label.

I have to admit as a new user of Click & Drop Its not that clear how much you are paying for the various services , yes you get a summary total, but that's of no use when you want to see the costs per package / item. Its far from ideal, the system must know the amounts to show a total at the end.

Really would like to see the Single Price per parcel displayed for each item posted on click and drop not just the net total!!

The probable reason for RM not answering on this thread is because it is marked as completed.
I have seen a credible answer on another thread - can't remember where. It was something along the lines of - different customers have different prices and discounts which are only calculated when the process gets to OBA.
You do always have the option of having OBA open at the same time and check they actual price you would pay in there. This is what we do when we use a different type of postage to our normal ones.
If you want more answers from RM it may be better if you start a new thread.

Come on C&D team, many are asking to see the individual price on the manifest as well as the nett total. How come many are asking for it but you are not responding with an answer?

I cannot get this frustrating site to work properly. It gets stuck every time and won't let me go to the next page when I try to buy postage. I have nearly smashed my keyboard in frustration on many occasions!!!!!!! Please sort this out Royal Mail. There is a ghost of another page overlapping the one I am trying to use and will not let me click on the 'next' button.

I don't see why you can't display the cost of each item at the manifest stage at the very least. The nett price is simply the sum of all the individual line items - if you can generate a nett price, then you can generate all the individual prices too.

@hypa I am sure your customers will be happy regardless of how much you pay for posting.
As per a previous comment, the class of mailing is shown prior to printing the label, most of my items go out on a CRL48 code, my first class go out on a CRL24, it also shows if the item is a large letter or not as well as the weight of the item.
All items under a certain weight go at the same cost
All our orders go out at the end of the day, many orders are processed & packed in the morning and put in a mail sack, I don't see any reason to make last minute changes to the posting class of an item that I am sending, unless I made a mistake with the label, which I try not to.
As long as I have selected the right class of posting, I have already worked in the costing, I just need to know that I have selected the right class of posting.
Whilst we all work in different ways, I just do not see it as a problem.

@Tyler unfortunately i am only a mere human being...so yes i do make mistakes....and unfortunately we often (nearly always) make last minute changes...and do our best to post orders as late as humanly possible before rushing to the PO....
so yes mistakes can and do happen...we want our customers happy and i can't see why RM C&D can't wish for the same?

@hypa - Not hard to understand, how many mistakes do you make a day?
How hard can it be to do the job right?
But as I commented below, before printing the label it does show you what postage method you used, if you bother checking that much.

Main reason for seeing prices before manifest is to see if there are any obvious errors. How is this hard to understand?

@Ron once I have applied the postage the shipping service is shown prior to printing the label. Occasionally I have made a mistake applying the wrong postage but rarely spot it as I rarely check at this point.

@tyler every one of our orders is different. But,for us anyway, it is not about knowing the cost as such. Of course we know how much it costs to send a 1kg package. No, the main reason for the request is so we can visually and quickly check that we have not made an error before committing
So, that 1 KG RM48 package. Did we actaully CLICK RM 48, or did the operatator inadvertently click Guaranteed next day by 9 AM. - it happens!. So one would cost us an absolute fortune. If we could see the prices before manifest (even standard pricing would be OK, does not need to be the OBA prices) errors could be quickly spotted before manifest

Do you not have an idea of what the costs are already?
I only use RM for posting and most of my items are the same cost per item on a daily basis. Sometimes I do have a special or something that I need to check the cost of but rarely.
Maybe if you could explain your need for what you want it may help them understand your requirements.
