Customer Delivery Instructions Printed on Parcel Labels
It seems incredibly bizarre that this does not already exist. It would be pertinent to include the customer delivery instructions on the printed address label. Many of our customers have special places to leave a parcel, I foresee a number of avoidable re-deliveries, especially if not implemented prior to the Christmas season.

Hi,
Thank you for your suggestion.
Currently the Royal Mail Account Terms and Conditions only allow the display of delivery instructions on Tracked Services. This is due to the agreement between account holders and Royal Mail, and the Safe Place Capabilities.
In order to have Delivery Instructions displayed on a label Tracked Services, such as Tracked 24 or Tracked 48, should be used. If you don’t currently have access to these services, you can request them by contacting your Royal Mail Sales contact or the Support Team on 08457 950 950.

Hi,
I just imported some Tracked 24 orders and the Delivery Instructions still do not print. When you say 'Completed' could you advise when this will be active? -

I would agree. This needs to be implemented without delay. We deliver to a lot of companies and would find this not only useful for the postal delivery personnel but also postal rooms within companies that we send too.
When sending to individuals it would provide information to "leave with neighbour" for instance.

Sorry Paul, you have completely lost me, How can you move lines of an address about? The address book asks you for the postcode and it populates it for you. When you print the label you have to have the postcode in the right box.
As I said before, the option is there if you click "order details", it just doesn't print yet. We need to get RM to sort the printing rather try to find fudges.

Click on 'edit' address and add any instructions on a spare line
you can move existing lines about to suit -

Apparently this appears on teh Delivery note, which seems pointless. It needs to go on the label so the delivery person can see it.
Can't imagine why anyone thought it was a good idea to put it on a piece of paper that goes in the box. We don't even use the delivery notes as we have our own.Would be nice if this was resolved to put it on the label at the bottom along with customer reference.

click in the manual order and there is an option at the bottom for "order details". Click the arrow and in there is options for "Customer delivery instructions" and "Staff notes"

@cassie75 - where is that option? I can't see it. I can't see anywhere to configure the delivery label

There is actually an option to do this, but it does not work !!!
Whatever you put in there, it just does not print. Lots of things like this do not work - like if you add something to "Title" doesn't print either.
