Have a stand alone option for Tracked Returns labels
Apologies if this has already been put forward, however, after being a DMO user for many years, there are some features that are disappointing not available on Click & Drop and one is the ability to just print a generic tracked returns label. It seems you can only do this against an order that has been created which means it populates that customers return address which is no good when we need it for a totally different customer. We are having to run DMO alongside this just so we can print standard returns labels

Hi Darren
if you have more than one address you want to generate a roll of returns, if you add the details as a trading name and address and you will be able to generate the details you want by selecting the trading name.

Hi,
This is great and I have found the option. However, one slight negative is that there is no way of editing the info on the tracked return label. In DMO, you can add a line so you can put a persons name or a department which was really good for us as our returns could be coming back for various people of departments. As this generates a label with just our address and no editing option for adding more, we won't be able to identify returns as easily. Is there any chance this can be added, or do we need to add another idea on the portal?

We have just come across this limitation in C&D. We are trying to change over from DMO completely, well ahead of the 31st March 2018 deadline we have been given but we need to pack returns labels with many of our products and cannot wait until we manifest at EOD to do it. Nor do we want to manifest individual items throughout the day just to get a label.
I'm therefore glad to hear there will be a solution, although a release date in March might be cutting it a bit fine.
Also, will we be able to print returns labels other than on A4 sheets? An A4 sheet looks extremely unprofessional and many of the packages returned to us are much too small to wrap up in an A4 sheet. A printed 6"x4" label such as we use for all our outgoing post looks much better and is a lot less likely to be forgotten or discarded by the customer.
A final reason not to link tracked returns to manifested orders: some of our products have a 3-year warranty so for 3 years after we change over from DMO, we could require a tracked returns label for an item that was sent through DMO and not through C&D.

As like most of you we've used DMO for a number of years to produce generic return labels for a customer. With the introduction of a new customer we had to create a new Royal Mail account with Click & Drop but cannot produce any generic return labels which has put us in a difficult situation with the customer as we offered this service! Please can you accelerate the production of this request as this is costing us money to provide the service we offered the customer.

As has already been said, we have been forced to sign up as DMO will be no more, yet as it stands C&D is useless to us. We use Linnworks for order processing, the only thing we used DMO for is to produce Tracked Returns Labels in bulk, something C&D does not do. Our account manager and C&D team have not been able to offer an answer the question how are we going to produce Tracked Returns Labels once DMO has been turned off? The only thing we can do is look for a different carrier to handle returns.

We have just started using Click & Drop. I need to be able to produce a Tracked Return label, before the order is manifested. Orders are manifested at the end of the day, so it is too late to produce the return label and pack at this point. More importantly I am awaiting the feature to produce adhoc labels, so we too have to use DMO alongside Click & Drop.

Yes I have just signed up, and the ONE FEATURE I use every day - generating Ad-Hoc Tracked Retruns Labels is not there! What a massive oversight. Why do you assume a tracked return will be for a previously 'manifested customer'. There are loads of reasons we need to generate Tracked Returns labels. Our sales system is not, and will not, be linked to Click and Drop so we need the power to generate an Adhoc label - just like we do now in DMO.

Hi Darren,
Thank you for your suggestion about being able to create generic tracked returns. At Click & Drop we are constantly working to bring new functionality to our customers, and this is one of the features that we are planning to introduce in the New Year.
The exact release date has not been confirmed yet, but it is pencilled in for March 2018.
If you have any questions about this please do not hesitate to contact the Support Team at Click & Drop, although we will update Uservoice once we have more information.
Thanks
The Click & Drop Team
