I send about 5 parcels a day with Royal Mail. Used to do this through Drop and Go, but that option is no longer available in my area, so moved to Click and Drop.
With Drop and Go you prepay and load up the card eg £100 at a time. Your bank account therefore shows a limited number of entries which is good.
With Click and Drop I'm spending £2 or £3 a day. All these small entries are appearing on my bank account - bad.
When it comes to book-keeping this is going to cause a lot more work / hassle / details to check etc.
It would be a lot simpler if I could pre pay, say £50 or £100 at a time.
eg. Parcel2Go - prepay £100 and get £5 credit. That system works well.
Something similar to that here would be ideal.
Agreed, I send about 20 parcels a week and individual transactions makes bookkeeping a total nightmare. Please can we have a method of topping up a RM pre-payment account.

I done this prepaid route years ago with a very small courier company - they went out of business a few months later and i lost about £75 of prepaid postage, not suggesting this would happen to RM!
I sincerely hope royal mail aren't paying paypal £0.20 on each transaction because of this madness. Add this asap, its annoying having to fill in the form every time, not to mention an accounting nightmare.
I use a Paypal account dedicated to my Click & Drop account and top it up £100 at a time. Then make payment using Paypal balance. Works great.
