Label Generating not working correctly
There appears to be an error often when generating labels. The label doesn't generate which results in having to refresh the page and manually re-generate the paperwork to retrieve the labels. Is this fault experienced by others? Will this be looked into? Thanks.
Hi all and thanks for your suggestions. Issues with label generation are usually the result of an issue with your browser downloading pdf files, or are the result of invalid service, country, or packaging format combinations.
If you encounter issues obtaining labels, we would urge you to contact our support team who will be able to help with at any account specific errors.
Their details can be found here: https://help.parcel.royalmail.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115003806094-Contact-Support

It is definitely a Royal Mail issue and not a r"result of an issue with your browser downloading pdf files, or are the result of invalid service, country, or packaging format combinations".
It doesn't work, you log out, back in after about 10 times it works - without clearing browsing data etc. With so many people experiencing this headache - why can't you get it fixed please?
I've experienced the occasional problem with label generation (ie, not printing and the pdf not actually appearing), but have normally been able to print by regenerating labels, or logging out, going back in the following morning and doing the same. However, I'm now finding the problem with each order, and no matter how many times I try regenerating labels - even going back in the next day - the blue band at the bottom of the screen where the pdf normally appears just slips away BEFORE the pdf document itself forms, so I have no label. I have to take the QR code to the Post Office so they can print there, but this is far from ideal. If labels came up in the confirmation email, as with some other carriers, it would be easier to print from there instead. Getting very frustrating!
I think there may be an issue with Norton Safe Web. Turning it off and refreshing the Click & Drop page seems to sort it at present, but this needs investigating further.

what a goddamn headache. It looks slick, integrates with ebay ok, gets the correct ids from Ebay, easy to select the postage, and then fails miserably generating the labels. the ability to print takes forever and doesnt work. Why on earth dont you put the option to just print, instead of regenerating all the time - which doesnt work. tried clearing cache which didnt work on chrome (latest version). of all things, MS Edge explorer saved the day - after 40 minutes of BS from this software
Postage will apply but labels won't generate for me this morning. Nightmare!
Same here, labels not coming out and showing error code, nightmare when we have all these orders to process.
Unable to generate labels this morning either.
Support not open till Monday!
Yes Steve, the second batch will not come out.......
Click and drop Up and running, but intermittent
I have just cleared my Browsing Data, and the labels are coming out now!
Give that a try.
I also have no labels generating this morning.
Support is not open on a Saturday, so am stuck now.
No click and drop labels generating this morning. Very frustrating when you have customers who want and have paid for things to get there Monday

This happens ONLY when you leave the browser open with an unused active click and drop session for any length of time.
Its not quite long enough for you to be logged out, but it is long enough for this error to happen.
I'm guessing this is a stale cache issue which I've consistently replicated in all browsers.
Open click and drop window, don't use it for say 10-15 minutes, without refreshing the page go about generating your labels and you will see the issue on the last "Label Generation" step.
Glad i moved to a business account and now use the scan and print and auto print features as i no longer am plagued with these bugs.
I am also having this problem on my MacBook in Safari. For me it only happens when the Click and Drop window has been left open for a while, not in use.
Logging out and in again resolves the problem but still requires the paperwork to be regenerated manually.
I am having the same issue. I'm using a 2017 MacBook Pro & Chrome browser. The progress wheel just spins around & around, labels no longer automatically download & when I need to reposition a label for printing, like you I have to manually re-generate the paperwork.
What used to take me seconds is now a right pain and taking way longer than it should. I contacted RM CS & they said;
"Google Chrome is the recommended browser for Click and Drop but it should work with no issues on all other browsers so I am unable to determine why you are getting the issues on your computer.
Can you please try deleting the browsing history, temporary internet files and cookies and see if that resolves the issue or alternatively try using Google Chrome?"
I did this but it did not solve the issue. This issue began happening on 4th February 2019 after the update. Very frustrating!!!
