Label Generating not working correctly
There appears to be an error often when generating labels. The label doesn't generate which results in having to refresh the page and manually re-generate the paperwork to retrieve the labels. Is this fault experienced by others? Will this be looked into? Thanks.

Hi and thank you for your suggestions. We have produced a guide that covers a large number of reasons why labels may not generate successfully:

If you have checked the information in the guide and are still encountering issues, we would urge you to contact our support team and provide your account details so we can investigate.

I'm having trouble with this too, it's just not generating any labels. I phoned up and the support I got was "delete cookies and cache"... so I loaded it in other browsers and incognito mode (so no cache or cookie history for the browser session) and still nothing generated when I clicked "regenerate paperwork".
The person on the phone was able to generate the paperwork herself, but didn't understand that this should be happening server-side and is nothing to do with my local browser (which are all up to date).

The new label service is awful! I have lost hours and hours of work trying to print labels that don't load on your website, and labels with tracking code rejected by the post office after standing in long ques waiting, then having to repurchase and send emails for lengthy refund processes. Fcking infuriating! You should at least offer a quick and easy refund request process and not pester people with the impossible and slow manual complaint process and downloading forms.

This has been going on for years Royal Mail - sort it out!!! So frustrating for small businesses relying on Royal Mail to post parcels quickly. Interesting that the part where you take our money always works fine. Please Royal Mail - make this a priority to sort out this glitch.

this happens 50% of the time for me. it's so frustrating. if you can't fix it why cant you attach the PDF to the confirmation email - which we can then open and print instead. It's been going on intermittently for months. Is it really rocket science?

Same issue for me. The only way I can resolve is to clear all cookies and browsing history for 'all time' and then re-open the browser. Terrible really as I don't want to do this. I am one of the people who find genuine cookies a useful trait of web browsing

I have several customers using click and drop. I resolved this for everyone by uninstalling adobe reader (and removing the extension). I then install foxit pdf reader and works fine now. Apparently the adobe pdf extension for Chrome and IE prevents the click and drop from working correctly.

Click on orders, choose the correct order, then on the dropdown for 'Other Actions' choose to regenerate paperwork. Choose the option that says 'Integrated label' and it prints (or at least it did for me). We shouldn't have to do this, but if you've got any urgent items to post, this might be a workaround for now. This isn't a browser issue, RM - it's a problem with your app that's been going on for far too long.

Whats going on!! I have never had this problem and today its happened for the first time. NO labels will generate! I have urgent parcels to post. I am a business and rely on the service. It seem that this is a brand new problem and that RM are blaming its customers instead of owning up and helping. I have just downloaded 2 Hermes labels without issue. This is not a browser problem.

Not able to print out labels from my Laptop.
I go into my order and select 're-generate paperwork' it shows 3 pdf documents that are black and white, however when I click on them a blue pop up appears at the bottom of my screen saying 'Please wait, we're generating your labels'. After half an hour I gave up.
Won't use this service again. -

Still having problems with processing Click and Drop labels. You advised to clear current data when the process stalls but this is still not a guaranteed method and also this shuts down all other work pages opened, most annoying all round. This has to be an issue with your programming. At present it may take up to 4 minutes to print a label and then I have to re-open all of my other work in progress!

Adding a link to contact support doesn't help. You need to make an instructional post with pictures or update your videos and resolve this issue. It is not a user issue. It is not a chrome issue (as I now get the same problem with Edge and with Firefox. It's a Royal Mail Click&Drop issue.

It s not a user problem. I can download other documents with ease. However the hint of another user to use the phone was my solution. This worked. Label was generated and printed.

Yeah no this is definitely a click and drop problem, not an us problem.

Twice had to get a refund on 16 labels that I tried to print. Typed them all in again and it happened again! Extremely frustrating. Will have to take to post office!
