Business Pricing > Public Pricing
I urge every business owner who uses Click & Drop, to check their pricing on their latest invoice!
Just checked my latest invoice, and I'm paying £6.02 per Tracked 24 parcel. However, if I went on the RM website and booked manually, I would be paying £4.15!
So if I booked through your website, rather than as a business customer through Click & Drop, I would have saved £1.87 per parcel!
Even sending 1 parcel a day, and saving £1.87, would total £56.10 extra per month. How many are you sending, and how much extra are you paying?
I have raised this with my elusive business contact, and also to RM on Twitter, I suggest you do the same!

This is a horrendous way to treat your loyal business customers. For me, using Retail Click & Drop is about £1.60 cheaper per Tracked 24 parcel than using my OBA Click & Drop account. I expect that RM are trying to build a parcel business with Retail consumers by offering them competitive prices, whilst they have no interest in their "trapped" Business customers who use the system every month and pay our bills on time.
I was contacted by Parcel2Go (a parcel broking company) this week and they are offering Account customers (I have an account with them for International parcels), RM Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 for exactly the same price as the Retail offering.
I'm not sure whether this includes Collection, but it does include regular Parcel Insurance and can be dropped off at Dispatch Offices and Post Offices in exactly the same way as Retail C&D.
Perhaps we should all switch over to Parcel2Go for a month? Maybe it would show RM that if you treat your Business customers with total contempt, they might just take their business elsewhere. -

Definitely worth pushing for better pricing! I used to pay £6.02 per Tracked 24 parcel, and now pay £3.19, so a huge saving.
I don't have an "account manager" for some reason, but spoke to a "new business executive" who sorted it out; Madeline.Childerley@...

Agree with you all on this, I asked our account manager to simply apply the public tracked services & prices to my business account and they wouldn't?
So have to use public click and drop to save pounds vs business rated tracked.

Emailed RM business, and they have basically halved my costs, although had to agree to sending so many. They said I should be sending X amount any way, but explained that when I signed up, no-one, not one single RM person, told me the T&C's and how many I need to be sending.
After signing up to the new prices, the new services should have been in my C&D within 25 hours - nearly a week later, and the services still aren't there. Their answer when I emailed the sales person about it? Ring the helpline! It's unbelievable that as a business customer I am treated as someone they really don't care about, and really don't want to help. I don't know who to contact if I have an issue, or query etc. Whenever I contact someone, I'm told to contact someone else, and it takes weeks for anyone to get back to me! Why are we still using RM if this is how they treat business customers?

Also, with a business account, there is a minimum annual number to qualify for Tracked, whereas Joe public can buy just one tracked label cheaper, and get a free collection. That's exactly the opposite of economies of scale.
