1. Click & Drop Desktop - Print shipping label THEN Despatch Note

   We have today moved over from Print Assist to the new Desktop app for Auto Printing.

   Everything was fine during testing as we printing 1 label at the time. We then decided it was time to print a large batch of orders. So selected 37 orders for the same item and printed.

   We are then presented with 37 tracking labels, followed by 37 despatch labels. No longer does it print the shipping label alongside the despatch label! So we now have to sort out each label and find its relevant depatch note (GDPR would love it if we accidentally sent the wrong depatch label to the wrong customer!).

   I phoned support and was told "this is by design and not a technical issue". Surely, whoever made this decision has not thought of customers who batch print orders.

   Can someone please re-look at this and allow an option where we can print them the same as the old system. We have uninstalled the new desktop app on all 3 ship stations and they are now all having to download the pdf and print manually, just what we need for the busiest time of the year.

2. Scan ALL RM48 and RM24 2D barcodes.

   This situation has persisted for too long. It's imperative that ALL RM 48 and RM24 2D barcodes are scanned. We cannot accept liability for lost items when the postal service fails to scan them. While we can claim for the postage, it would be significantly advantageous if these 2D barcodes were consistently scanned upon delivery. Many remain unscanned, and Royal Mail's excuse of it not being a priority is unacceptable. Their latest advertisement emphasizes the importance of their services for businesses, including the choice of delivery speed and online delivery confirmation. We demand 100% compliance with this service. The financial implications of tracking costs and claims are evident, so why not offer a business service that guarantees 100% scanned 2D barcodes? This would eliminate the need for claims and prevent sellers from receiving negative feedback due to apparent non-deliveries. All updates are promptly uploaded to eBay, fueling buyer concerns when deliveries are not confirmed through scanning. It's time for action to ensure that every delivery is properly tracked and accounted for..

3. Don't chage your customers MORE for saving you time and fuel

   I think it is ridiculous to be charging 20p extra per parcel when a customer takes their parcels to a post office (which for me is a 3-minute walk to my local shop so if I am going there anyway I may as well drop my package off as well) instead of wasting Royal Mails time and fuel to come to pick them up from me at an unspecified time the next day, which adds an extra day to the delivery time, IF they actually turn up (which in the past they haven't turned up to collect).

5. Update Tracked 24/48 to collected when Business Collection takes place

   Royal Mail Tracked is not tracked when the driver collects. Please can you update the tracking using the manifest when collected not when the packet gets to the super hub the next day?

6. Compatability With Woocommerce's Official Shipment Tracking Plugin

   Woocommerce has launched their official shipment tracking plugin.

   Please make click and drop compatible with it rather than sending tracking details via an outdated method:

   OR

   First send the tracking details into the order notes and THEN mark the order as complete.

7. More parcel postboxes please

   My local parcel postbox is often full. The nearest is then another 5 mile drive, so I end up driving round trying to find one with space, or missing another day on the delivery time by waiting until the day after. More and more people are selling personal items on ebay/Vinted etc so we need more parcel boxes please.

8. Give customer full transparency on additional fees if a Click&Drop parcel is dropped off

   You have a banner on the Click & Drop website telling customers that they will be charged extra if they drop off the parcel at a Post Office. It then says 'for more info, click here' and then there is a list of all the possible questions you could ask. It is not transparent and easy to find the charge. Having spoken to Customer Service today, I am told that I need to report this here at 'user voice' which I knew nothing about, but as she has told me that the additional fee is 20p, why not just state that on the Click&Drop website where the banner says a fee will be charged. Customers need to know how much something costs, before using the service and it would be very easy to show this.

9. Please add the delivered DATE to the manifested orders status column.

   At the moment, the tracking status for delivered items just shows as 'delivered', but it does not show the actual delivered date.

   This would be so useful for an overview and finding out delivered date results for things like ebay cases.

10. Make it easier to find out how much one has been charged for each item

    It is far too difficult to find out how much one has actually been charged for an item. If it is on the system at all it is not easy to find.
    It is very frustrating

11. Automatically Remove Despatched Orders from Click & Drop, if Marked as Despatched at Marketplace.

    When orders are marked as dispatched on eBay, Etsy, or Shopify, they should automatically be removed from the "awaiting dispatch" section in Click and Drop.

    Currently, orders remain in the pending section even after being dispatched through these platforms, which causes confusion and extra work. Improved marketplace integration is needed to ensure Click and Drop reflects only the orders that are still awaiting dispatch.

12. Add Integration with SquareUp

    A request for this was submitted 3 years ago.
    More users are now on SquareUp and having an integration with Click and Drop will help users with their online shops and increase sales for Royal Mail.
    An integration needs to be seriously reviewed to be included.

13. Give batches a reference other than just a batch number

    We have multiple batches for multiples customers. It would be good if you could name the batch with a job number or a internal reference so everyone knows what the batch is rather than just a batch number. We have people manifesting the wrong batch by mistake as sometimes the quantities are the same. This would make it so much easier to differentiate the batches

    Please fix the bug to make shipping rules compatible with Amazon orders. Initially when we first joined Click and Drop we could have postage automatically assigned to amazon orders. It hasn't worked for quite some time.

    Original Working Example:
    Shipping rule selected all orders with the shipping method 'Amazon Shipping - Std UK Dom_1' and applied the appropriate shipping method.

    Then amazon changed the text string being fed through with their orders. For example 'Amazon Shipping - Std UK Dom_1 | Ship By Date: Feb 23, 2023, 23:59:59'
    This still worked because there was a partial string match on the first half of the text string. This was great, no issues, we could still run our original rules.

    However, amazon changed the text string again. Now the same shipping method had something like this: 'Amazon Shipping - Standard UK Domestic_1 | Ship By Date: May 28, 2024, 22:59:59'

    As you can see the first part of the string no longer matches. The rule fails.

    Solution: Despite each rule having an edit button on each of the store postage method strings, it doesn't work and the store postage method strings can't be changed and saved sucessfully. They can be edited but it doesn't save the changes. So the simple solution is to allow us to edit and save the strings meaning that the rules would recognise partial string matches and hey presto the function works as it should again. It in turn saves us time and money.

    IMPORTANT: Additional strain on your DB system. Every single order that comes in via amazon from every vendor on your system creates a new database entry as a new shipping method. Fixing this problem may allow you to have a solution for this and in turn, eliminate the hundreds of thousands of new DB row entries being stored.

15. Issue with Parcel Drop-Off Confirmation Screen

    I am experiencing an issue with the parcel locker service. Every time I post a letter, a screen appears asking, “Did you load the Parcel?” with options to select YES or NO.
    • Regardless of what I press, a random locker compartment opens.
    • Sometimes I receive an email confirmation that the parcel was dropped off, but other times I don’t get anything.
    • I am unsure whether I should press YES, NO, or ignore the message altogether.

    While my parcels have been received so far, I don’t always get proof of posting, which is concerning. I need guidance on what I might be doing wrong and how I can ensure the drop-off process works correctly and consistently.

18. Country specific hs-codes

    When downloading order from Magento 2, Click and Drop downloads, if an hscode object is present under the Order->OrderItem object, please use this, falling back to the Products hscode if not present in the OrderItem.

    Hs_codes in the OrderItem are order specific, and therefore country specific and this can be 10 digit HS codes.

    Ireland are now returning to sender any items that don't include 10 digit country specific HS codes.

    10 digit country specific HS codes are available under Order->OrderItem in my Magento store.

    Please indicate and standardise in documentation how you download order specific 10 digit HS codes so I can start shipping to Ireland again.

19. Duplicating deleted or refunded orders.

    When deleting an order you system often re-creates the deleted order causing accidental purchases which then have to be refunded, once refunded you then add the refunded order back into the basket with postage applied causing yet another accidental purchase sending us both in circles unnecessarily. Fixing this could save much time and hassle for youself and your customers.

20. Import VOEC & Other Customs Scheme Details

    VOEC number for Norway or other VAT system scheme's should automatically be pulled through from eBay / Amazon etc integration with their unique number, similar to how the IOSS number is pulled through.
